=================================
Damien was beginning to think now that things were finally settling back into normal routine. He could really do with out all that excessive happiness. Not that he was a fuddy duddy, stick in the mud, or a depressed emo, or always serious or anything like that. He could be happy when the situation called for it, which happened more lately since he had plenty of reason to be. It was just that he liked feeling emotions on his own terms. He liked routine, he was good at order. The near flawlessness of his clean room was probably a testament to that. And he had always cleaned up after his puppy too, almost immediately. Not to mention the fact that he always tried to look his best whenever out of his room.. aside from the gym. As he had went through the previous days events, he wondered about his upcoming birthday that would be in June's first week. There should definitely be a party. There would be, according to what his girlfriend told him. He was curious as to what gifts Prue would get him this time. Whatever they were, he knew it would be good. And of course he'd want to make sure her birthday occasion would be even better when it eventually came around. Hopefully no evil forces would interrupt any part of it.. though he wouldn't hold his breath on that. Things tended to happen unexpectedly no matter what. But he hoped they'd be lucky this time. At least they were both alive to celebrate it. So that was.. something, at least.
He had just dressed up in jeans and a black shirt, now walking into the community kitchen. He knew this area well. He had been here many times and had no doubts that others had too. It was also where he had begun talking to Prue on a personal level after getting past the awkwardness created when that angel had altered their memories. He thought things had progressed very nicely even though there were a lot of bumps on the way (such as kidnappings and death during the start of the Apocalypse). The kitchen was empty for the moment, other than himself. That usually changed rather fast on some days. Damien paused to think about what he should have. He could make eggs or bacon. Except he didn't do the cooking thing. He'd never learned. It was always others who did that for him, like the help. So he settled on something simple. He poured himself a bowl of cereal, put a bit of sugar on it, and put the milk away once he was done with it. He'd found a spoon fast enough too. "Finally, some food," he said with a sigh as he sat down and began to eat. As he took some bites in contentment, he wondered if he would be eating alone or if anyone else in the complex would be up at this time as well..
