Who: Glory & Spike and eventual rescuage, where there will be minions but no God :p
What: Well she had sooo much fun the first time round
Where: While Spike is on a Dru Hunt
When: 29th October, not long after Dark
Rating: Highish, mentions of torture
Status: In Progress

Glory was the centre of attention, and she loved it, so much for vampires and demons, oh no, the town was talking about Gods, about her, about how to end her, and they didn't even know. Didn't even get the truth of how they'd done it last time. Cause she was freaking amazing. It was the simplist ploy ever. Same spell, Same rules, no one knew the truth of her, no one knew how to kill her. Not even the bastard watcher that had choked poor Ben before, or the Slay Bitch and her hammer of some looser god. And a wrecking ball. A freakin...

Ugh, Sunnydale had annoyed her, had pretty much driven her insane. But dammit she'd taken a portion of the town with her, and she was doing the same in Lawrence. She had some of her minions still, and she had those she'd taken, getting closer to her key, closer and closer every day. Oooh she could feel it all tingle inside, how close she was. She'd bleed the little brat and she'd get home, she knew she would. No one would stop it this time. It would be amazing, and simple and the surrvivors could have whatever they wanted left. Just a few more days, a few more and she'd have everything she wanted. Her power, her dimension, her subjects. Temples, worship, everything she deserved. Just she needed something here to be the catylast, she was waiting, for Buffy to realise it was easier to give her Dawn, or for someone who'd lost the mind of a loved one to her, who were caring for a shell, to crack. And they would, they always did. Mortals were so easy and every one of them had a price, like Ben. Ben had a price. But that wasn't what she was looking for now. She needed something specific, something that would click into her head as the way to go.

...Oh perfect,

Perfect. Glory crossed the street at godlike speed, the bleach blond across it drawing her attention like some kind of siren. It was too perfect. Spike. Oh Spike, he was good for info, and she'd make the torture hurt this time.

"You. I want my key. And you and me...we have a return engagement, don't we?"

Spike had been keeping to himself a lot lately. There wasn't any reason for him to be loud and cranky about Glory's return when he, personally, had a bigger problem on his hands: Drusilla. He was torn in two different directions - one that was entirely set, since he knew what had to happen - while the other frayed into something desperate and dark; the side of him that he'd traded off for the life as a...not a hero. But something that wasn't quite as evil as he'd once been before he had gotten his soul. It itched under the surface for Dru to come to him and right things. That darker half of him missed the old days, back when everything wasn't so bloody well complicated. It was highly unlikely that Spike would beg Dru to give him a second chance (again), but it was more than obvious that he needed to find and talk to her all the same. She was a tough one to take on, he knew that, but someone had to do it. And Spike wasn't counting on Buffy focusing on Dru when she had bigger fish to fry. Like the skanky whore who was trying to off her sister (another again).

He had thought for a moment that he'd picked up a familiar scent, so Spike took on in one direction hoping that it'd lead him to the vampire in question. He had paused on a street corner for a moment, sniffing out the scent, when he realized that he had to head north rather than the eastern direction he'd been headed in. The trail was faint and likely to vanish altogether if he didn't get a move on, so Spike stepped off the curb and began to move across the street. He hit the sidewalk as soon as he got over, then began to reach into the pockets of his jacket, fumbling around for a pack of cigarettes.

At least, of course, until he was rudely interrupted.

I want my key. Oh, brilliant. Well, there went his plans for the night. All Dru related expectations went out the window. Spike knew that he wasn't going anywhere. He wasn't stupid enough to actually believe that this bitch was going to let him run off and continue on his search. No, if Glory was here? Spike wasn't going anywhere. Fuck.

"Sorry, sweetheart." Spike threw his hands out at his sides in a half sort of shrug as he turned to face her. Yep, definitely Glory. He could recognize that lopsided ass anywhere. "I'm all booked. You'll have to re-schedule."

Booked. Was he serious? Didn't he remember the last time?. Ugh he was so damaged, really he was. Glory was NOT about to leave him to go about his business when he didn't even acknowledge her. She did what seemed appropriate and slapped him. With godly strength behind it, and Spike remembered well what that was like. Oh yes.

"I said. I want my key. And you. You're gonna help me send a message to the Slayer just like all those people I took. But since your brain energy is all dead and stuff we're just gonna have to do what we did before aren't we. Wouldn't you like that Spike? Don't you remember the fun we had? Now, I gotta tell you. My apartment isn't near as nice. But I did get chains and daggers and holy water and all sorts of fun toys just so you and me could recreate the magic. Doesn't that sound fun!"

It probably didn't to him. But whatever. His opinion meant nothing to her.

"Now come on" she said with a smirk, grabbing his arm and pulling him along the street, she had figured he'd fight back, and was ready for a scrap if it came to it. But Spike knew he couldn't beat her. Not ever. He just didn't have it in him. So this time, she'd take longer, use more of her Godly awesome skill and she'd break him. And he'd give up Dawnie. He'd tell her where she was. And even if he didn't she'd enjoy herself.

He'd been awful to her. He had called her ass lopsided one time. Oh he'd pay for that one.

The slap was an effective one. Spike stumbled back, the brick wall behind him being the only thing that kept him from crashing to the ground entirely. Shoulders pressed to the surface, Spike reached up with a leather sleeve and wiped at the side of his face. Already, on his cheek where she'd struck at him, there was a slight cut. A little blood, but nothing horrible. Yet. Before Spike quite found the time to react, Glory had grabbed him by the arm and began to haul him down the street. Immediately, Spike attempted to yank himself away from her. The bitch had an iron grip compared to his own enhanced strength, however, leaving Spike without the ability to do much by way of freeing himself. Fucking hell, he was screwed. In particular, Spike really wasn't looking forward to being tortured. Again. He had gotten lucky the last time, but who was to say that lightning was going to strike twice in the same place? If he didn't figure out how to escape on his own soon, then he was dead. It was just that simple. Because God only knew that Spike would be the last person in the world to give Dawn up to the whore dragging him along like he was a young boy being scolded by his mother.

"Sounds like a real party," Spike retorted, pulling against her grip all the same, "the chains in particular. Are you gonna punish me, baby? Was I a bad boy?" Okay, probably not the best time to be taunting the crazy hellbitch. But what did she expect? He hadn't buckled the last time and he had been evil. Spike had his soul now. Did she really think that she was going to get what she wanted out of him? How stupid could one be?

"Are we really gonna do this again? You know what's going to happen. I'm not gonna tell you anything."

Glory laughed, His bravado was adoreable if misplaced. She was gonna hurt him and he knew it, he remembered it, she knew that as she dragged him along. Of course he remembered it. Glory liked to think she left an impression on him. She was that kind of awesome. He really should be thanking him. But if he didn't shut up, she'd have to hit him again and that would just be sad.

"Oh I know. I know you won't tell me where she is. I know you're all loyal to the Slayer even though she ditched you for the guy with the jacket and looser car. I mean really, thats got to suck. Did she ever really love you at all. I mean, what if she doesn't come for you Spike. All you're fawning and heroics and she really might just still hate you. Spending time with me is better"

She had a place downtown, best place for this sort of thing, away from the power of the seal just in case Buffy did come for him. It was easier that way. "You and me, we'll have fun. We'll have a lot of fun and you'll tell me just how much it hurts that she's not yours anymore. And I'll laugh. Lots. While hurting you for the funny. And people say I'm not good company. Not my minions, they think I'm amazing. Like my Jinxy. He's here. Remember him?

It would have been perfectly pleasent conversation if she wasn't dragging him along in pain.

Spike didn't let the impact of her words show. He was good at hiding things and the twinge of...of what? Regret? Anger? Annoyance. He decided to go with annoyance. The twinge of annoyance that followed her words didn't follow through to his eyes. If she was trying to hurt him emotionally, she was going to have to try a lot harder than that. "I didn't realize you had such a colorful level of interest in my comings and goings with the Slayer." Spike tugged at the hold on himself again, scowling. Bitch. Complete and total bitch. "She'll come," he told her, considering sticking a leg out to at least trip her over. Maybe that'd make her fall. He could try and make a run for it then. "She always does." No matter where he and Buffy stood, Spike knew that she wouldn't turn her back on him. He wished that she would, sort of, if only to keep her from coming along and getting herself killed. But Spike knew better than to believe that Buffy would leave his fate in the hands of Glory.

"Glory, Glory, Glory - when are you going to learn?" Spike grabbed her by the arm with a hand, decidedly sticking out a leg in sync with his words. "I don't give heart to hearts to ugly whores that pick me up on the streets. I save those for dinner with the family." Hopefully, if his timing was right, Glory would trip. Maybe she'd lose her grip on him. If she did, he'd run. There were a few local haunts nearby that he'd learned about over his stay in Lawrence. He'd hide if he had to. Hiding wasn't exactly below a guy like Spike. He did what was best for himself. Always had.

Glory did indeed trip. But the speed in which she gripped back at Spike didn't give him time to run. And now? Oh now she was pissed. How dare he try to trip her. "You jerk!" she hissed, "I could have ripped this dress you know and its beautiful. It was so expensive, and it could have ripped or scuffed or who knows what. And my heels!! Who even knows what could have happened those. Ugh, you're so damaged!" she added in irritation and sped up their walking, turning into an alley. The shortcut was dark, quiet, and so they weren't interrupted when she punched him again.

"No wonder she dumped you for the Hunter" she said furiously. He was calling her a whore. He'd tried to escape. He'd tried to trip her up. "It's like you want to be hurt. It's like you want to annoy me as much as possible. I'll make it hurt Spike. It could take hours...it could take days. However long. I'll make the damn time. How the hell dare you. Who do you think you are.? Do you know who I am? I'm Glorificus. Do you even GET that!!"

Oh she was gonna make him beg her for forgiveness. Then laugh, and make her beg him some more.

The shear power of the sword had kept Buffy drooling for a good five minutes until someone had finally nudged her in the back and brought her back to life. She thought the Scythe was awesome, Buffy was in love with the sword from the moment she touched it. It was just so...pretty, shiny, and powerful. If this didn't kill Glory, she didn't know what would. It was their best shot, she had to believe it would work, because she was getting everyone back.

So with her Scythe with Vi, and Lucifer's sword held tightly in her hand, they'd headed off as soon as the witches had Glory's location. Why they were able to locate her this time, she didn't know. Frankly, Buffy didn't care. It just meant that she was going to die.

On top of that, Spike was there. That had to be. Something that use to be hers, but not anymore? While Spike was missing? He deserved to be rescued, she knew he wouldn't give Dawn up, and that was why they couldn't leave him there. Buffy didn't bother telling anyone what this 'thing' was, because if brought them to Glory, then who cared?

A tiny part of her was afraid, but as she kicked down the door to Glory's apartment, she ignored it. The bitch had to die. Sword raised, she entered the first room.

Faith was uneasy about leaving Pike alone, but she knew he trusted Doyle. Plus, he'd seemed mostly okay with Doyle being there, so she'd taken the opportunity to slip out of the motel room-after first picking up her knife, his knife, and his gun. The last she stuck in the back of her pants, under her jacket, the other two went inside the jacket. When Buffy texted her the address, she had began heading in that direction, eyes narrowing in anger the entire time. She wanted the hell bitch dead.

She got there maybe two minutes after Buffy. Noting that the door had already been kicked down, she drew one of her knifes and headed inside. She saw B and Vi already inside, and spotted a group of the ugliest munchkin demons she'd ever seen heading their way. With a dark grin, she moved in that direction herself.

She absolutely needed this fight.

Needy might not have been an actual slayer, but she was close. When the message went up that they were heading out she had quickly changed into some dark clothes before heading down to meet the others. And there was a reason for that. It was after dark, so when they left the building Needy took to the skies, moving above them just low enough to be able to see if anyone was coming at them. Luckily, they were in the clear the entire way to the apartment, but better safe than sorry and all that.

When she headed into the apartment and saw the first non-human looking demons she'd ever seen (aside from Lorne, of course), she couldn't help smirking just a bit wickedly, and it was entirely possible that she was letting a touch of her crazy show in her eyes. She tried not to show it much around the people at the complex, but ever since getting bitten by Jennifer, she really did love fights, so the swift kick to the gut of the thing nearest to her felt great. After taking it down she quickly glanced back over her shoulder at the others.

"Alright guys, we need to find that big haired bitch. I'm checking down the hall." Granted, the apartment wasn't huge, but it was good to have some form of gameplan. And she would neither force people to be her backup, but she seriously wouldn't deny them either.

Ghost Rider had sped the whole way to the complex. Lucky for him he didn't ride the roads. No one had posted any speed limits for the rooftops, not that he'd obey them if they had. Mortal laws meant very little to the Spirit of Vengeance. His host was insistent enough to keep the Rider aware and pursuant of subtlety, but Daniel also recognized that sometimes the laws got in the way of what truly needed to be done.

He'd slowed his pace when the group moved from the complex. He was following the others, which meant he couldn't go at the blistering speed he was used to. He was still riding the rooftops, and it didn't cease to amaze him how easy it was to avoid notice this way. Amazed and pleased him. If more people actually looked up, his job would be significantly more difficult. When they neared the location, the Rider simply rode down the wall and left his bike in the nearest alley.

He filed into the apartment behind Needy, his chain unlashing from around his torso and into his hand without him having to reach for it. A second later it lashed out, again without him moving his hand, and cinched around the body of one of the tiny little scabs this "god" apparently had serving her. Ghost Rider yanked hard on the chain and the tiny little demon was pulled right into his hand. The Rider gripped the demon's head in one gloved hand and twisted it a full 360 degrees.

Then he carelessly dropped the body and stepped over it, moving closer to Needy. "I will aid you." Hellflame danced along his chain for a moment and it stiffened, the metal at the end changing, taking on a sharp point. He was used to working alone, but time was of the essence here, and even he wasn't arrogant enough to believe he stood a chance of even escaping from the mistress of the house on his own.

Jacen mostly just wanted to get into the fray, Not because Glory had done anything to him personally, she hadn't. But she threatened the group that he had decided to work with and that was enough. He was there with vampire Slayers among others, they certainly knew what they were doing in regards tactics. More or less. He was still better but they'd made a sound plan. And then there was Needy.

He watched her once the fight started, she seemed to really relish the fight, Jacen had restricted himself to the force, shoving the things back, generally hurting but not killing. He didn't know what the moral...opinion was.

"Buffy. Are we killing them?" he called over the sounds of battle, nodding toward the lightsaber at his belt. "It would make this all so much easier if we were..."

Even as he spoke the...flame...headed thing snapped the head off one of the creatures and Jacen shrugged. There was the answer. The red blade of the lightsaber sprung to life and Jacen went to work, doing what he did best, fighting with one hand as lightning flew from the other eyes glinting a dangerous yellow.

Same old minions, not that nice to look at, not very smart. How she hung out with them, Buffy would never know. Lucifer's sword sliced through the air, cutting the first minion up the center, and dropping him. Needy was searching for Glory, which was probably where Spike was.

Glancing over her shoulder she looked to Jacen. "Kill them all. Look to Vi and Kendra for orders." When one demon came at her from the back, she flipped it over her shoulder. Looking around the room, she managed to see where Needy was going just as she vanished, and then bolted after her. "Not alone." she called after the might-as-well-be-slayer.

She followed her into other sections of the apartment, kicking down doors as she came to them and checking them out. It wasn't that big, but she could really be anywhere. Either way, she wasn't letting the god slip past her and move out to where the larger crowed was. She'd kill them, and Buffy couldn't allow it.

As if kicking hell goddess ass wasn't incentive enough, Buffy was letting her use the Scythe. The moment it had been placed in her hands, she was ready to go dice up some minion. She'd brought along the extra weapons she said she would but taking a look around, it looked like no one was going to need them. If the army of potentials at Buffy's house had seemed like an eclectic bunch, they were nothing compared to this group.

It was so cool.

Approaching the apartment, she stayed alert. After all the nests and dark sewers, it seemed strange to be kicking down the door of an apartment. If so much hadn't been at stake, she would've been gawking at the flameheaded motorcycle rider and the lightsaber that had just come into play. But her attention was fully on the minions in front of them, finding Glory, and doing the job Buffy had given her and Kendra.

"Watch each other's backs," she called before swinging the scythe into an oncoming demon. The blade slid in and up, quick and clean. She kicked the dying minion back and pressed forward.

Andrea entered not too soon after Jacen. Just in time to see Needy disppear into the place and Ghost Rider follow her. She hesitated in following them when Buffy went after them. Three was enough for that direction. She had some minions to beat down.

It was very likely that she enjoyed beating up on things more than was necessary. More than was normal. But when she thought that the company she kept, that despite how much she liked roughing people and demons up ... She was still the sane one. Or at least she liked to delude herself into thinking.

Twisting around and sending a kick into the stomach of one of the demons, her mouth twisted into a humorless smirk. This time though, there was more of an edge beyond the joy of bashing in heads. There was the fact that these lackey's Bitch Mistress had messed with a few people that she cared about, and one thing that could be said about Andrea (aside that she was a violent individual) was that she was a protective one. Big on it in fact. Everyone that she hurt, she imagined that it was Glory. It didn't make her feel better .. exactly but it certainly was an effective method.

One wouldn't be able to tell it just by looking at her; nevertheless, there was a hit of sulk to Kendra as her eyes caught Vi with the scythe. She could just feel it and she wanted to touch it. Just by watching the other Slayer move with it she already realized just how awesome it was. To say that she was more than a little irritated with Buffy over the fact that the older slayer had just told her about it that evening, was an understatement.

To think of all the times she could have been training with it. Or just holding it close. Like she did to Mrs. Pointy. It wasn't fair.

Kendra was slowly learning to use her emotions as she fought. And as she kicked minion ass, all of her irritation flowed, fluid and dangerous, through her. Despite her irritation with Buffy, she still kept an eye on her fellow's slayer back. Catching a minion who thought they were being smart as they attempted to sneak behind Vi.

Riku didn't know these people, and he had only been there for a couple of days, so he only knew the basics of the situation. But fighting these sorts of fights was in his nature these days. Plus, what better way to show that he was good at this sort of thing than joining in?

Call him cocky, but he knew he was good. Calling forth his keyblade, it didn't take him long after entering the room to realize that the minions were going to be a breeze. He'd fought much worse than these in the past, after all. Moving quickly, faster than normal humans, he easily took down one minion before throwing a quick Dark Shield up behind Andrea when he saw a minion coming up behind her. He might not know her well, but at least he knew her name. That was more than he could say about most of these people.

It had taken some doing but Morgana had managed to convince Arthur to lend him the replica of the sword that his heir apparent had. As strange as that sentence was Morgana was becoming used to saying it and thinking it. Likely because how bloody wonderful said sword was. She could see why Arthur loathed to part with it, even if it meant that she had a familiar weapon that would help keep her alive. And that had been her winning argument. And despite all his pounting he knew that she had a point.

Twisting the sword expertly, Morgana struck the arm of the demon that approached her, before running through another with the sword. Moving easily and fluidly. She knew how to use a sword. It was so very good to have one in hand again and to be able to fight and help people without fear of reprimand. Not that would stop her and not that Arthur wouldn't try. However, she wasn't letting any of that bother her. Her focus was currently on killing these demons. It was a shame that she couldn't logically have a go at Glory. These minions would, sadly, have to do.

Even in this world, Jessica felt the need to prove that she wasn't the person that had led the Skrulls. She wanted to prove that she was something entirely different in every way possible, so she had joined the others, slipping in the door just behind that woman. But, Morgan Le Fey wasn't her problem just then, keeping the world from ending was.

When one of the hideous demons rushed towards her, Jessica lept back against the wall, letting her skin stick to the hard surface nice and high as she shot off a venom blast at it from her free hand. No, it didn't contain actual venom, not a lot at least, it was closer to electrocuting someone with roughly the amount of electricity contained in a rather large bolt of lighting. In other words, the demon was fried and it fell.

"Thanks," Needy called back to Buffy and the Ghost Rider when they joined her. And she couldn't help thinking that it was sort of impressive to have someone like Ghost Rider covering your back. Needy kicked in the door at the end of the hall, the last room they hadn't checked. But after a quick elbow to the face of a demon Needy looked around, eyes going wide. "Uh, guys," she started before crossing the room, even going as far as to check in the closet.

"Unless she's in one of the other closets, Glory's gone." And yeah. That was bad. Sure, Needy liked her fights, but that didn't mean that she wanted the bad guy out loose where she could get to other people that weren't involved.

Andrea paused for a moment when she realized what had just happened. She turned torwards Riku and eyes catching his, wide-eyed and blinking. She knew that barrier anywhere. She'd used it in the game and had Riku use it to protect Sora ... and okay, she had to stop thinking that that. It was a trial to adjust her thought process everytime a favorite character became a living and breathing human being. It was espcially harder when she played/read/watched them more than usual. And she did like her RPG games.

Now probably wasn't the time to do so, but it was either that or squeal like a maniac. She lifted her hand in a little wave of acknowledgement, grinning slightly. "Thanks!" She called out.

As she was going to turn her full attention back to the fight, she caught what Needy said and let out a few choice words in Spanish.
