Two and a half years after the mishap in the Department of Mysteries the Amesoeur Project is still going strong. With Draco Malfoy overseeing that the disastrous effects of the potion have been diluted. At the first of the year he removed himself from the project, deeming it safe enough for any idiot to continue. Some wonder if something happened to make Draco leave the project or if he was removing himself too soon. Though speculation runs high, testing and production has not come to a stop. On February 14th, 2004 the position was released to every certified Apothecary. With the Ministry’s promise to strictly regulate the brewing and distribution of the potion, a certain calm has fallen over the masses. With orders pouring in, many shops have struggled to keep the shelves stocked as romantics work toward getting their hands on the potion. Are you one of them? Do you want to know? | It’s been twenty-five years since the end of the Second Wizarding War, and the wizarding world has been drastically changed. After the previously disowned Princess Andromeda ascended the Black Throne in 1998, she led the wizarding world through a reconstruction era that was widely considered an unpopular reign that promised change but didn’t deliver it quickly enough. In 2022, Queen Andromeda passed away quietly in her sleep and her grandson, Prince Teddy, became King Edward II. Unbeknownst to the reigning royals, restless purists have gotten together to form a secretive movement devoted to putting Narcissa Malfoy on the throne instead. These shadowy radicals call their plan Salazar’s Purge, and have begun inducting their children into the movement as Knights in the exclusive Order of Salazar. But, for those children and others, the most radical move that King Edward II and Queen Victoire have made in the last year was shutting the doors of Merlin Wizarding Academy — the private wizarding school whose student body was solely composed of the children of royalty and nobility. Beginning in the 2023 - 2024 school year, for the first time in history, nobles, royalty, and commoners will be attending a single school, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, to encourage integration and reduce elitism.
