As long as there have been humans on the island of Manhattan, there have been those that would prey on them, those that needed them, those that feared and hated and loved them. Hidden in plain sight, these creatures have lived alongside humanity for centuries. They lived in the darkness, in the small recesses of a growing metropolis, overlooked and unseen. They are the vampires, and the werewolves. They are the Seelie and the Unseelie courts. New York isn’t merely the melting pot of humanity, but of the other world, the world that exists below.
