Amidst all the supernatural powers of the world there are countless humans, blissfully living in ignorance. Or not so blissfully, as the case may be, for in that ignorance there is weakness. How can you defend against something you have no knowledge of? How can you prepare yourself against the things that go bump in the night if you don't know what it is you're fighting? Humans have been living alongside vampires, werewolves, and shifters for centuries without even realising it, but as time goes on the barrier between their own world and that of the supernatural gets thinner. People start noticing things, the creatures trying to hide in plain sight slip up and make mistakes, the truth gets out, and what happens next? That's anyone's guess, but it's doesn't take a genius to figure out that the result won't be pretty, especially not for the humans caught up in it.

WELCOME TO STORYBROOKE
The combined magic of Emma and Regina stopped the failsafe and saved Storybrooke from complete destruction, but that wasn't all it did. The backlash from the device unbalanced the magic and things began to change. Though Emma and the others tried to leave Storybrooke, seeking Henry, they found that they couldn't. Something was keeping them from leaving, as if a wall of magic had been placed around the entire town. They were trapped. And soon, things began to take a strange and unsettling turn.

Portals have begun opening. People are appearing out of nowhere, with no idea how they came to be in the town. It's as if the magic of Storybrooke is trying to draw more people in, pulling them from other worlds to fill the town. The residents of Storybrooke are adapting as best they can, and the displaced visitors are trying to make new lives for themselves. But portals aren't the only changes and nobody can be sure how the out of control magic will affect everyone next.

When Divatox, intergalactic pirate queen of evil, finally destroyed the Turbo Rangers and their Command Centre, it wasn't the end of its energies. With nowhere to go, the powers of the Morphing Grid that were once contained within seeped into the universe itself, opening up rifts in time and space over the entire planet.

Anything that falls through the rifts tends to arrive with some modicum of technology, hacked into cooperation with the new universe by as-yet unknown forces. There are translators, GPSes, even a rough kind of teleporter that mimics the Rangers' old technologies.

Ready or not...


No one knows how it started, or where it came from. No one knows what it is, but in less than a month it would bring all humanity to its knees. Once in the blood, like black poison it creeps; the joints feel like broken, jagged glass. The lungs begin to fill, then the fever hits. That's what gets you- that's what kills; the virus takes over the body... and then the body becomes the virus. It's how the Dead began to walk. They don't feel. They do not tire or sleep.

Anyone up for a small GPSL with everyone taking on a few characters?

This would be a mashed up Supernatural/Vampire Diaries/ Buffy/Angel world and very AU.

I've already got a Sam Winchester player interested and we've hashed out a few rough ideas between us. Buffy is no longer around (or if she is, she's gone over to the side of Lucifer) and has been replaced by another slayer (who we might already have too), the world of the Vampire Diaries is right back at the start so that we can rewrite things the way everyone might prefer them to be. Everything else? Up for plotting and discussion.
