[info]bostonmalife is a city based game located in Boston Massachusetts. In this community you can play your character as you wish whether you want them to be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, college student, high school student, etc. Everything is allowed here just as it is in the real world. This group is for you to just write and have fun with hardly any restrictions on your character. The only thing we ask is that it be realistic. Slash and Het are both allowed here and encouraged to keep a mixture of everything that you might normally run into.

The application process will also be fairly simple. Instead of looking at examples we focus on your profile for your character. As long as you show us that you have a general idea of what your character is like you will most likely be added with no problem. Should something else be needed or we do wish to see examples we will be in contact with you. RP is suppose to be fun and not seem like a job so we want this to be as easy as possible so that you can have a break from reality and just write with other writers who wish to have fun.

Different events and activities such as parties, social events, etc will be posted randomly so that community participation is promoted and you can branch out and get to know different characters in the group.


Mention this add in your application and your profile will be waived for a week while you work on it! So free admittance into the group! Only good for three days only!!!

You open your eyes and find you are in a stately room with fine trappings and thick stone walls. You look outside and you can see- is that a dragon circling high in the sky above?! Are you looking out on the grounds of a medieval castle? And, yet, is that a sprawling, modern city you see in the distance? You search your room for any clue as to how you arrived in… where are you? Welcome to Fairview Heights, a sprawling apartment complex set just on the edge of the city of Charleston, South Carolina. The complex boasts many amities, an Olympic sized swimming pool, central heating and air, and friendly management among other things.


What the brochure doesn’t tell you is that the ground Fairview Heights was built on during the turn of the twentieth century was cursed. Strange happenings have been going on since it’s opening in 1901. Residents have died horrible deaths inside its walls. Children have disappeared, never to be found, and murders have occurred on the lush premises. The former residents haven’t left however; they are still there waiting for you to make yourself comfortable.


Have you noticed strange sounds during the late hours of the night? Maybe you’ve noticed that something you placed down wasn’t where you originally left it. That draft you feel isn’t because of the wind dear friend. That is only the beginning; things get worse, far worse.


Welcome to Fairview Heights, where you aren’t the only one residing in your apartment.

Breakwater Point has always been safe. It’s small. It’s lovely. It sits on the very edge of the Massachusetts coast, and its small harbor cradles a very old lighthouse, decommissioned in 1921.

Six years ago, the lighthouse began to flash. Then the monsters came.

This town isn’t safe anymore.
