A reincarnation game set in New York City. Your character's original coming lived centuries earlier, whose life has since become the basis of popular tales. While your character no longer recalls their past or any of their former reincarnations, they share some traits or characteristics with the original tale. They may even experience flashbacks or dreams of their original lives and reincarnations that they choose to ignore as nothing more than fantasy. Sometimes they find themselves inexplicably drawn to certain individuals who, unknown to them, were part of their original tale. The area of Sleepy Hollow in lower New York is no stranger to trouble. Especially not of the magical kind. It is even a part of Muggle legend, though heavily re-written, and one that is studied in Muggle Schools around the country. A fanciful tale with intrigue, love, lust, mystery, and ghosts, it is a well-beloved tale from the area.

The real story is even worse. It isn’t enough that the Horseman is a real entity, seeking vengeance for a mysterious past wrong. The school’s own tragic history is almost a mere blip on the radar in the grand scheme of things. With a headmistress who is seeking to quell the spirits of the school for her own purposes, what can the students do?

Perhaps the question should rather be: What wouldn’t the students do to get their school back?

THE VALAR RPG
LIKE THE ELVES, THOSE VALAR WHO CHOSE TO ENTER THE WORLD AT IT'S BEGINNING ARE BOUND TO IT UNTIL IT REACHES IT'S DESTINED END.
Valar is an AU panfandom game that seeks to explore the strong bond between characters and how it can transcend even the toughest of situations. Every character in the game has two histories. One history is their canon history, which they don't remember. Their other history is the AU one made to fit the confines of the game which they believe to be true. As each character interacts with others, especially other cast mates, they are flooded with memories of their canon history and slowly begin to realize everything they've ever thought to be true is wrong.

This game was inspired by ABC's Once Upon a Time, Season Six of LOST & BBC's Sherlock, but you do not have to be familiar with any of these shows to play in the game.

In December 2010, it began. New York City was the epicenter and gods and mortals of bygone days were drawn there. Shadows of their former selves, not all remembered who they were and none knew that their lives had become playthings for Khaos.

In March 2012, following who knows what manner of tug of war (because it is always, always a game), our gods and goddesses, our nymphs and our angels, our mortals and, yes, even our mythical animals were returned to New York City.

They do say it's the city that never sleeps. It is only natural that the city's puppet-master never sleeps, either.

You can try to break the cycle but whether you're Odin All-Father or Zeus Thunderer, whether you're a Queen of Hell or a Queen of Sparta, you will fail. Settle in, instead, and learn to roll with the punches.

Welcome to New York City, 2019. Population: last recorded at just over 2,500.

The outbreak has ravaged the city for six years now. The infected population now outnumbers the human population 10:1. Every day feels like a losing battle.

People still fight. There are still pockets of resistance; folks who have been determined to be immune to the virus, people who aren't immune but have things to offer and people who know that it's best for them to run and hide. Those people are too strong to die, too brave to give in.

For those brave enough to fight, just living day to day is occasionally a struggle. They're fighting to benefit a government who looks out for their own survival before the survival of the remaining citizens. Even the strongest people break every day.

But a rebellion is coming. Government vs. survivors vs. zombies.

It's time for change.
