Look beyond the crimes of gangs, mobs and the mafia. Look closer. Do you see what's really going on? Well, you wouldn't. For centuries they have been running the city of Los Angeles from beneath the radar. The local news, television shows, hollywood stars, you name it, they control it. It's all to better suit their needs and their lifestyle. Ridiculously high murder rates? No problem! Nothing a bit of mind control couldn't fix. Want to be a famous actor or actress? That's no issue! They just hope you don't mind being nommed on in return. Who are they you ask? Vampires, of course! You're probably wondering, "Hey, why hasn't anyone tried to stop them!?" Well, they have. For hundreds of years, this single family of vampires has taken control of the city, but the problem is that they weren't the only family to found the town. Coinciding with their existence there have been a long line of werewolves, and a family of vampire hunters. Once, they lived together in equality and peace, but a vampire's blood lust for the lives of innocent people became too much to control. Death tolls and murders hiked, and the others feared something had to be done. The city's general population has recently begun to awaken to the awareness of such beings. Tired of being used as toys, snacks, and lackies, the human's who have become aware of such creatures have begun to fight back. In this game, you'll find vampires working for the founding family, lone vampires, hunters, werewolves, witches, and you're normal, run of the mill humans. Not all of them are evil, and not all human's are opposed to the existence of vampires and the supernatural. When it really comes down to it, the fate of the city and the alliance of your character are in your hands. Because of how extensive we seem to have accidentally made this game, we plan on this being a long term community. We would be pleased if we had active players join us for a long haul. A New Life is a Marauder Era game set in their fifth year after Severus has travelled back in time, after deciding he would change the past for the better. He aimed for the end of his fifth year, just before the Mudblood incident, but arrives at the summer before his fifth year, instead.  CAST | PLAYER DIRECTORY | FRIENDING BUTTON It's 2050, by now the wizarding world has gone through mass changes since the Second War ended. Deaths, births, the rise of a new generation, changes for a better world. The only thing that the wizarding world struggled with was a small uprising started by the children of former Death Eaters. Thankfully, it only took one year to quash it, and luckily only a small number of causalities came from it. In the end the nine members of the uprising were caught, and sentenced for their crimes against the wizarding world. Since then everything started to progress again and over time the wizarding world became slightly more dependent on the muggle world, and with that came change and adaptation. One of these changed came when former Minister Shaklebolt decided that the key to a peaceful future was knowledge. With knowledge came acceptance and progress to maintain a better world. In 2030 Eolas University came the first Wizarding University. Modeled after muggle universities across Britain and Ireland the goal was to educate young witches and wizards preparing them for their career of choices. Everything from Geffory Buttermere College of Medicine, the MacTavish College of Law Enforcement, Goodfellow College of Magical Law, to degrees offered in Magical Zoology, Muggle Studies, a wide array of degrees available for every kind of field in the wizarding world. It is up to this new generation to decide what to do with the knowledge, if they'll use it to follow their dreams, to help wizarding kind, or for their own personal benefit. Their grandparents made a mark on the world, now it's their turn. |

 A group of super powered heroes who, during the Depression years of the 1930s, banded together in the name of truth, justice, and humanitarianism, to inspire hope among the average man. Together they founded the Justice Society, dedicating every day to the service of helping those who could not help themselves. They took on the responsibility of using their abilities to foster a philosophy of goodness, and took an oath to protect the helpless and the needy. But good could not exist without evil. The Justice Society soon found themselves in confrontation with a villainous enemy known only as The Master. The Master gathered his own team of powered individuals for the sake of evil, corruption, greed, and, above all, power. They were colloquially termed The Elite, for their harsh criticism of less valuable super powers and their xenophobic superiority over nonpowered people. Then, on July 28, 2011, everything changed. As The Master lied on his death bed, he used the remaining bit of his strength and power to make one more lasting impression upon mankind. He ripped open a hole in the fabric of time and brought countless generations of heroes, both presently living and deceased, from varying points in history, into a single unprepared present.
