HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT


Of sorting ceremonies. Of owl posts. Of quidditch matches. Of first loves. Of butterbeer. Of botched potions. Of guessing Bertie Bott flavours. Of house rivalries. Of dueling. Of divining. Of managing mischief. Of spotting the Giant Squid. Of passwords and secret passages. Of Hogsmeade trips. Of late night study sessions in the library. Of hanging out with friends in the common room. Of asking your crush to the Yule Ball. Of making magical memories!

Another next-gen Harry Potter game. But this one, we're running like a pb game. What does that mean? How about IC contact pages for random notes, owls and midnight musings? The ability to post gifs like magical photos? Allowable customs? Encouraged organic lines? A random community? We're offering just a few changes to utilize the journals and change the dynamic just a bit, but we've still got everything you love about HP games and world building---quidditch rosters and canon family trees and details on pop culture, clubs and professors.

And we know what you're thinking... Bad timing for a school game to start. But don't worry about that. With graduation, the carnival, a summer quidditch league and Camp Black Lake coming up, your students are going to be busy until September!

For the last two hundred, Shadow Falls has remained a quiet, seemingly tranquil town holding tightly to a deep, dark secret: Not only do vampires exist but they rule over their human stock with unwavering and all intrusive authority...until now.

Under the very nose of the seemingly vigilant Vampire Council, a group of terrorists have slowly been gathering, conspiring, and plotting the overthrow of the government. It is their belief that the Council's time at the head of the terrifying Shadow Falls monster has come to an end.

In Shadow Falls is an adult fantasy RPG in which vampires run the town, and humans are servants, slaves, and meals. We are looking for people who love to write, love to create characters and stories, vampires, and the supernatural. It is slash-friendly, het-friendly, femme-friendly.

Recently, the game has been given an overhaul, backstory remains, bans have been lifted, and new management has taken over. If you think you know Shadow Falls you need to check us out again! Previously played characters are eagerly welcomed back!

Our idea of a superhero has been crafted—molded since we were young. Just a click of the remote took a child to Superman, the very definition of the word. We saw him utilize his enhanced agility and strength to defeat the unethical schemes of Lex Luther, his arch-nemesis. When all was right, he ran to the shadows to become a common man named Clarke Kent. He then battled everyday evils, such as staplers, traffic jams, and the pain of unrequited love.



Though he was portrayed as a civilian, he was never considered one. He was always alien to us, as most well-known superheroes are. It’s never an average man who's gone without a run-in with toxic fluids or bites from strange creatures who saves the day, but for these citizens that all changes...



Weekend Warriors' concept is strongly influenced by comics, television, and movies such as Scott Pilgrim, Kick Ass, and Heroes. It’s relaxed, character-driven, and allows for new sub-plots alongside the existing one.

Hogwarts, meet the Ministry.

With the latest orders from the Ministry, the structure of the Prefect system at Hogwarts was the first change: Prefects have been paired by year and house, forming a team which cannot assign detentions or take house points without consulting one another. It was from this new policy that the Inquisitorial Squad was reborn: a student-run club designed to train interested students in Ministry issues and conflict resolution. At Hogwarts, things are orderly, organized, and above all, fair - or are they?

Prefects are finding new ways to abuse their powers and control others. Students retaliate in their own ways, bringing personal issues before the Inquisitorial Squad, treating it more like a Hogwarts' version of the Wizengamot than a wizarding Model UN club. A secret society runs amok in the student underground, their activities and intentions mysterious and seemingly neutral -- for now.

The production of fully functional mecha units began in 2165, but with this advancement in technology came envy and discord. For 13 years, the Earth was scarred by a terrible war. In the aftermath, the UN decided that mechs were simply too dangerous to be used without restriction. They decreed that the units would be removed from Earth - only brought down for UN-sanctioned missions - to prevent another tragedy, and that they would oversee the education of a new generation of pilots who would use mechs to preserve the peace. So it was that Ganymede Station was built.

The year is 2211, several generations of pilots have graduated through Ganymede Academy, and the planet has enjoyed many years of peace. But with the colonies talking of independence from Earth, how much longer can it last?

LAST TIME ON ROADMAPS...characters have battled vampires in Romania, acquired a diadem that they promptly lost, visited Peru were the Death Eaters acquired Tom Riddle’s Diary, and all the Order got was a lousy t-shirt Peruvian by the name of Jose Carlos, and engaged in epic battles during the full moon. Characters are currently headed/just arriving in New Orleans after the third Horcrux.

ROADMAPS
Roadmaps is a Mauraders Era RPG centered around the hunt for the Horcruxes. This time, the Horcruxes have been scattered across the globe and a mad scramble has erupted between the Order, Death Eaters, and Ministry to reach the Horcruxes first (with journalists trailing behind) before Voldemort can return. Roadmaps is a largely AU game, exploring what could have happened had things gone differently after the Marauders' graduation...
