CAST | PLAYER DIRECTORY | FRIENDING BUTTON They called the generation following the Second World War "The Baby Boomers". They were supposed to make the world a better place, and free from tyranny, a new hope for the world. However, like most things in this world no matter how hard you try, bad things happen. The Second Wizarding War came and went, destroying just about everything in its path. Heroes rose, villains fell, sacrifices were made all in the name of justice. After the fall of the Dark Lord, and the Second War, it was only natural that the trends from the past continue. Those who had survived carried on, rebuilt, to pass the torch down to their children, a new generation that seemed to spring out of the ashes. This new generation, the Boomer Generation as they're now being called, was raised with the hope that they'd be able to create a new world, a better one, one that wouldn't fail into the habits of old, to stop the cycle. However, it isn't just the heroes from the Second War with this mindset. It can be said for those on the fallen side as well. For the children of the defeated have been growing with their own ideas to correct the mistakes of the past, becoming more powerful everyday and the time is growing closer, steadily gaining supporters and slowly building terror in a world that was supposed to be different... |
Musings has always existed, a world alongside our world. In Musings, people live the way we do, eat the same food we do, love the same way we do, and work the same minimum wage jobs we do. The differences? They all have their roots in fictional characters, and they are immortal. Though they are not the characters themselves, they carry in them the essences of characters from fiction. The sources that they spring from do not exist for them, but they are based on fiction we are familiar with all the same - though no one has ever read a Batman comic, there is a rich young man who uses his money to fight the forces of evil that destroyed his life. Though Moby Dick was never written, a sailor still stalks the bars of a town on the sea, watching, waiting. Now, a portal has opened between the world of Musings and the mortal world, and the Creations (as they call themselves) have begun crossing over in droves. Now, they have abilities that they did not have in their own world, abilities that they can choose to do with what they will. There is no great prescribed fate for these echoes of fiction, only the destinies they choose to weave for themselves - living and losing on the shores of a new world. Most Wanted: Rorschach seeks a Night Owl (Watchmen), Maleficent seeks a Prince Charming (Sleeping Beauty), Guerrero seeks an Ames (Human Target), Howl seeks a Sophie (Howl's Moving Castle), Ramona seeks a Gideon (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Black Cat seeks a Spider-Man (Spider-Man). |
The lands of the Sapphire Domain are quite nearly legendary. When wars - or games as they're called - rage all around, these lands have managed to survive and even flourish. When games were lost, rulers of the domain would rebuild. Rarely has a poor ruler come into power, and many other domain rulers long for the power of the Sapphire Domain. The Sapphire Domain, currently ruled by King Willem, has been unscathed by games for the last ten years. Some say he's the most intelligent, tactical and all around best ruler the Sapphire Domain has ever had. Others wonder just what powers he holds that have kept him and his contingency from ever losing a battle. Whispers abound: is he hiding something? Is there a greater power than his? But the real question is, how much longer can his winning streak last? |
