The world is finally at peace... or is it? DC Universe 2390 is set in a timeline where DC and Marvel worlds are combined. Presently, in 2011, with all of the super hero teams in existence, the world is a safer, peaceful place. The Justice League has disbanded, and some of its leaders have returned to their original homelands, retired, or are now assisting at Brightwood Academy, a private school and home for many of the future’s up and coming heroes. Brightwood Academy is located in New York and teaches at high school and college levels. Students are encouraged to master general and specialized academics, as well as physical combat and strategy training until they are called upon by the world to become the heroes they've been waiting to be. That time is coming, much sooner than anyone imagined. |
Chasing the Storm takes place in a world that is now a very different place- one of survival and war. The year 2083 and people are dealing with destruction brought on by humanity's greed. Trying to renew the rapidly declining resources, they dug too deep into the earth and awoke an ancient race hidden for thousands of years determined to sleep away the two-legged race. After one of the main post-dragon cities, Romford, was destroyed by an a surprise attack from a hoard of Dragons humans, Psionics (an advanced race of humans with superhuman abilities), Tainted (genetically tested/altered beings), and Suwani (an earth based tribe) find themselves in a new city, Haven, made of different rules and a different lifestyle. Though more advanced than Romford ever was Haven's mob style ruling keeps everything in check; including the dragons they allow into their fair city. No longer are Psionics on top of the two-legged food chain but find themselves on equal footing with the Tainted and the humans that they looked down on for so long. Dragons roam through the city, disguised in their two-legged form but welcome. New conflicts are arising, the punishments are more harsh and there is trouble around every corner. No one has forgotten that they are still out there - the hoard looking for it's next attack. Are they among them? Are they around the next corner? Who will be the next thrown into the wild? |

You think you know London, its streets and alleys like the creases of your palm. You don't know all its secrets. In its depths are places to buy amulets and tarot readings, a talisman that permits the wearer to manipulate luck hangs alongside bottles of herbs and demon's blood. Books so ancient the pages are tissue-thin jostle against postcards of buses and telephone boxes. There are bars where the clientele don't just find the dim light flattering, but downright necessary, and the smell of brimstone lingers in the nostrils. There are corners and recesses where magic isn't trickery or sleight of hand, but blood and bone and flesh and you might -- you might -- catch sight of feathers pure as snow and light, if you know where to go. If you know how to see. There's a pitched battle being fought for this other London and your London besides -- one in which every human in existence is being counted in a gamble for souls, Heaven and Hell trying to tip the scales and grave-faced Librarians holding them steady. And all the time, people go about their lives with a little pinch of something extra in a London you'll never see. |

Premise This world is a lie, a grand illusion that none of us can see through. We are trapped here, living lives that are not ours in a time that is long gone, and a place that never was. This is Eidolon City, home of the captive dreamers. Are the lives we lead here unspoken wishes? Personal hells? Or a twisted echo of the waking world we cannot remember? |
About Us Eidolon City is a newly revamped and re-opened noir-themed game in a 1940s setting seeking players in a vast number of different roles, from mobsters to policemen, business owners of every stripe, and everything in between. We've got room for Dreamers, the characters that provide the dreamscape. Into something a little more fanciful? Our Aspect system allows you to adapt a concept from existing fairytales, fables, or myths as a noir-centric character, with plenty of room to rework your concept as the game goes. We actively encourage character-driven changes to the larger setting of the game, from owning notable landmarks to vying for power among the crime syndicates and police. |
Looking For We're just getting started here with a re-opening, the game should start very soon! We just need a few more people before we open our doors up wide! We've re-worked the entire concept, and have created a setting that's easy to come into and get involved with! What we're looking for are police officers, mob bosses, bar/club owners, and family connections to accepted characters! Take a look around, any business listed that doesn't specifically have an owner is open for you to create them! Have ideas for a business of your own? We're happy to have it! Got a character that you haven't had a place for? See how they work here! Coming in and getting involved is easy! |

Where are you? No one knows. How did you get here? Not a clue. What you do know is that you fainted and woke up alone in the desert. You start to wander and are found by armed soldiers and are brought back to their base. An old man with a pale complexion and very long finger nails asks you questions, recording everything into a ledger. He nods and gives you a key, a smart phone and a netbook and sends you on your way. You are in Phoenix, Arizona where the locals tell you to sleep with one eye open. Now that He has you, strange things will happen. You might forget important dates or things you've done and then suddenly remember them days later. One day your abilities may work and the next they may not. They also may be completely switched with someone else. You never know what He's going to do or who he might bring in to torment you. The only thing you can count on here is that you'll never know who He is. |
