2027; sixteen years after the tragic suicide of Harry Potter, life seemed to be full of high energy. Lives continued to move forward, no one thought of the war anymore. It was about the newest wizarding (and for some) muggle technologies. Girlfriends, boyfriends, world travel, freedom to say the least. But things aren't as safe as everyone perceives them to be. Darkness is rising, another war is riding strong on the horizon and it is going unnoticed with every day life. New followers are emerging from the shadows, going by without detection. A new prophecy has been foretold and they await the Lord's return. Will things be stopped in time? If it wasn't Harry who had to die to break the link Voldemort had with the world of the living, then who really must make the ultimate sacrifice?

Offering an alternative to traditional internships, the school was a welcome relief to places such as St Mungos and Professional Quidditch Teams, where applicants far exceeded the vacancies. One year later the school is thriving with nine offered subjects, co-ed fraternities, street games, and Quidditch tournaments. Gossip and rumours, pranks, and day-to-day mishaps make college life anything but boring. Just mind the occasional streaker. WMU is a next generation Harry Potter game set at university. With a focus on character development, good storylines, and both friendships and relationships between characters, we’ve gone back to basics that make role play fun. We encourage good writing, journaling, threading, and our players to simply relax and have fun.

There has always been magic in the world.

It enters during periods of great destruction, sneaking into the world when humans are unaware. Most humans can't see magic. It is protected by the Delirium, a veil of thought that keeps ordinary people from seeing what they don't comprehend. The unicorn they saw walking down the street? "It was a white horse." The ghost in the living room? "A trick of the light." That man who vanished in thin air? "Mirrors."

There are a few who are able to see past the Delirium. They find themselves drawn together as magic calls to itself. Two factions have formed--the Mages, those who bend magic to their will, and the Witchfinders, those who are determined to control magic and protect humans from experiencing it.

The Witchfinders have been successful in pushing magic back for years. But as centuries have passed and science taken hold, the faction lost its power. As a result, it weakened. Magic finally had its chance.

Wanda Maxinoff went insane when she had found out that she couldn't have children and started to play with realties where she could. Magneto worked with Charles Xaiver and Dr. Strange to help cure Wanda of the delusions she was having but she was starting to become very, very dangerous. Meanwhile Charles Xaiver and the X-Men called a meeting with the Avengers to talk about possibly killing Wanda to save the world. There was a lot of arguing but in the end they did agree on killing Wanda, unfortunately Quicksilver overheard the whole conversation and ran back to warn Wanda convincing her to create a universe where Mutants were in control and the family Magnus ruled supreme. The world went white and no one at all remembered what life was like before this utopia was created except for Wolverine and Layla Miller. What if Wolverine and Layla Miller never came to the conclusion that there was something wrong? What if they never went around waking people up from this wonderful mutant utopia where the House of Magnus ruled? Our goal is to bring the 'old GJ feeling' back. We're focusing highly on character development, player involvement and player driven storylines.

It is the year 2011, one year after the apocalypse.

It all started with a batch of tainted influenza vaccines. Come autumn or winter of the year 2010, when everyone was going out to be inoculated against the seasonal flu and Swine Flu they were unknowingly infecting themselves with a mutated and deadly form of the virus. After merely days after their first exposure, the infected began exhibiting strange behavior. Along with nasty bodily aches, vomiting, and other typical symptoms of ordinary influenza, the infected became hostile to anyone that might pass their way. They certainly didn’t make a conscious decision to spread the mutated virus, but by way of scratching and biting they sped up the demise of the human race a great deal.

The world descended into chaos. As they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. All people wanted was to contain the disease and eventually find a cure, but all they succeeded in doing was forming angry mobs. There were so many unnecessary deaths and not exclusively from the mutated flu. World governments ceased to function and the population thinned out to an extreme degree.

The one blessing was that the mutated flu was a blood-borne pathogen. It is not carried through vectors like mosquitos or other insects nor is it airborne. With enough caution, one could escape infection. With enough determination some people might survive.

The Korean War, 1950-1953. You are stationed at a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital three miles from the front lines in Uijeongbu, South Korea with some of the most skilled surgical hands ever to serve the United States Army. Your chief surgeon, Captain Hawkeye Pierce is a remarkably gifted doctor who, with his partner in crime (and fellow resident of a tent dubbed 'the Swamp' - Captain BJ Hunnicut) between long, intense sessions of treating critically wounded patients, makes the best of his life in an isolated Army camp with heavy drinking, carousing, and pulling pranks on the people in the camp. His cynicism and total lack of military discipline can only be matched by his talent as a surgeon and empathy toward his fellow men.
