In the core of the City of Somnopolis, where it always rains, stands a sleepy concrete spire that takes the coveted title of the tallest building in the city. It is also perhaps the most recognisable building, courtesy of the wide awake eye that seemingly has its sight on you regardless of which point in the city it is viewed from. This, is the headquarter of Endodyne, and the all-seeing eye its faithful insignia. Like the loyal hound, it offers steadfast companionship to every good employee of the security firm, which enjoys a monopoly on municipal policing by the simple merit of being damn good at it. The paygrades of the dedicated protectors and guardians of Somnopolis are very transparent. Sorted in an ascending rank by the floor level of their office, at the very bottom reside the archivists, ferreting away in a maze of stacks of papers. Above the Archives are entire floors dedicated to the clerks, followed by several layers of grunts, and then the lift takes one presently above ground to the legion of investigators and their personal assistants, leading to the very top of the panopticon where the Overseer Who Does Not Exist ostensibly holds office. They say he (or she) Does Not Exist because no one has ever seen this person, nor has anyone stumbled upon the office in a state of occupation. That's not quite true. Several hundred metres below the Archives is the underground compound which houses the extremely well-paid research team studying round the clock one subject, and one subject only: oneironautics, or in layman's terms, the ability to travel through, and manipulate, dream environments. And on the 52nd floor, the real 52nd floor between the 51st and the conspicuous "52nd," known colloquially as Area Fifty-One-Point-Five, is a single corridor inhabited solely by the specialist operatives, the true hidden gems that keep Endodyne at the very top of its field. It is they who have glimpsed the face of the Overseer, though only ever in their dreams … BASED ON THE CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED FILM INCEPTION |

Ten years ago a university that specialized in mutant education along with the standard courses of studies was built. It was the first of its kind, implemented just after the mutant education act. The university is open to humans and mutants of all races, creeds and religions, giving them an equal opportunity at higher education. Mutant U. is a co-ed, mutant/human university specializing in offering additional training for mutant powers alongside the curriculum for most common majors. The game allows canon and OC characters, humans and mutants, teachers, staff and students. The university is a microcosm that reflects some of the prejudices found in the outside world as well as those unique to college life. MU is a College Level AU X-Men game set in modern day Boston. It is meant to be a place where OCs may flourish, new stories can be written and those who have moved on to college may begin again. The school grounds, commonly referred to as Mutant U., house both a university as well as a training facility. The game is open to mutants and humans age 18+, canon and original characters are both welcome. The game hopes to combine the social aspects of life as a mutant and a university student with the dangers that come from living in a world where humans and mutants coexist, sometimes not-so-peacefully. |

CHARACTER LIST • PB LIST • APPLICATION • RULES • WANTED CHARACTERS Liberalis A Post-Warts, Non Deathly Hallows Compliant Game By the spring of 1999 the Trio had collected and destroyed all six of the Horcruxes and they set out to find the Dark Lord hoping to end it once and for all. At the climax of the duel, Harry gained the upper hand and Voldemort, knowing he had seconds left, used his last lifeline: a time turner. With the fall of their Lord, the Death Eaters abandoned the battle and it appeared to the wizarding world that their greatest enemy had been defeated. Unknown to them, the time turner had brought Voldemort into 2002 where he was already gathering his followers and one more Horcrux still remained. Voldemort had unknowingly created another when he had killed Harry's parents and attempted to kill Harry. The newly shattered part of his soul was transferred into the infant when the Dark Lord cast the killing curse. The New Year of 2003 would be marked with tragedy. The Dark Lord would announce his return at the Ministry’s Annual New Year’s Ball where innocents were attacked and dozens were slaughtered. In the aftermath of the battle, accusatory eyes turned to the once celebrated hero; Harry Potter. Overnight the news spread and people began to feel again the terror that had yet to fade completely. Over the next few months the Ministry worked around the clock to assure the people that this time wouldn’t be like the last; this time they should place their trust with the government and not in the hands of an adolescent hero. The Ministry’s demeanor became one of confidence. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named had struck out twice already and this time the situation would be handled properly. Voldemort had other plans. On June 23rd the Ministry of Magic fell. Trust and security was shattered when Voldemort and his army entered the Ministry building, having been given access from within. Death Eaters and dark creatures alike swarmed through the structure, destroying everything in their path; among the dead was found every member of the Wizengamot including the Minister of Magic himself. Once and for all the Dark Lord proved what he was capable of. With their Headquarters in ruins, the Ministry has been forced to relocate and is scrambling to come to terms with their losses and what it meant for the future. Wizarding Britain looks to the future with little hope while the Trio desperately search for the missing piece, knowing that if the Dark Lord had returned that their mission had not yet been completed. Another Horcrux must still be in existence and destroying it is the only way to ensure their liberation. Game Opens Friday, July 23rd |

Welcome to Avalonis, where superheroes and villains walk the streets and nothing is quite what it seems. The city of Avalonis was once dubbed the superpowered capital of the world and even today the city is filled with people who can do the most extraordinary things. Some can move things with their mind, others can read them and then there are some who have no powers at all but insist on fighting for justice nonetheless. As when you have a city filled with heroes, villains will follow and now the city is host to some of the most spectacular and epic show downs the world has ever seen. Beneath the shiny exterior of the city and the side that the tourists come to see in the hope of catching a glimpse of the city's famous heroes and villains is a layer of corruption. The Irish mob and Italian mafia control parts of the city, pushing prostitution and drugs onto the streets of Avalonis. If there's something you crave then there's always a way to get it, no matter how sordid your tastes. There's a reason why the city needs heroes. Avalonis Police Department is rife with corruption. The internal struggle within the department is probably why they have yet to pay full attention to the recent disappearances of young superpowered individuals, but how long can these disappearances remain unnoticed and who knows more than they're letting on? |
