Imagine waking up in a city that you didn't fall asleep in. Your home is exactly as it was, but the city you lived in? It's no longer there. You're in a new city, one you've never seen or even heard of. River's Crossing. It's a city surrounded by a heavy embankment of fog and a forest dark as a moonless midnight. It's a forest rumored to be filled with creatures straight out of the most disturbing of nightmares. People will tell you that you're safe from the monsters so long as you stay within the city.

But what protects you from everything and everyone else?

Since there's no room in heaven...


This Town, Your Grave is a new OC game based on music and the supernatural. Your character is dying. They don't know it, but they were on the cusp of death before they awoke in River's Crossing. The reason they've been chosen to be there is simple. Their soul is stuck in the middling state between good and evil. Somewhere along the way, a good person did something terrible or a terrible person did something good. River's Crossing acts as a limbo of sorts.

Music plays a large part of This Town, Your Grave and part of the application process is providing a song that inspired the creation of your character. Each character will be based on a different song. This provides a unique and fun aspect to the game.

In July of 1995, the Order of the Phoenix reformed, consisting of new and old faces that joined together to wage war against the most powerful Dark Wizard the world has ever seen.

In January of 1996, ten of his most dangerous and loyal followers escaped from Azkaban in a mass breakout that forced the country to its knees. Though the Ministry still denies that the dark wizard known as Lord Voldemort has returned, the Order has fought against them since the summer. As his most devoted Death Eaters return to his side, the stakes get higher, and it's not a question of if lives will be lost. It's a question of when.

These are the people who have the courage to step up and fight when no one else will. This is their story.

Something went wrong. Or perhaps it didnt, perhaps it went precisely as you planned. Either way, you're dead. At least, you should be. But it's quite curious how you awaken and can feel wet grass under your fingertips, smell the freshly cut hedges and taste the clean flavor of dew in the air. The dance of rushing water reaches your ears and you breathe in... yes, you certainly are breathing. You're breathing, your heart is pounding against your rib cage, and you feel very much alive... But you are dead. Before you stands a magnificent and grand fountain, the sparkling reflection of the building past it seems more lively than the building itself. As you stand you can see the vast greenery of hedges, gardens, fountains, as far as the eye can reach. It seems peaceful here and yet, somehow, in the back of your mind, you know that there's so much more below the surface. And you know it's not near your time to leave.

What would you do to stay young and beautiful forever? Would you lie? Would you steal? Would you kill?

Sirens are brought up to do exactly that. A race of woman, capable of luring men with their magical songs, and shapeshifting into birds. Beautiful and enchanting, sirens are capable of unlocking immortality. But it comes at a price. Regularly afflicted with debilitating murderlusts, sirens have a choice. Give in, and kill, or lose their beauty, their youth, and their sanity. The more they kill, the longer they'll live.

For centuries, siren women have made their choice. Some try to kill only when necessarily, while some embrace what they are. Whether they found what they were to be a burden or a gift, it was theirs to bear in secrecy.

Until the Light of May.

On May 1st, 2009, the supernatural world revealed itself to society. And the siren race was listed as one of the top threats to humanity. Sirens have been driven into hiding. Some try to pass as werebirds, some choose a life on the run. No one knows what happens to a siren if caught, but there are rumors of scientific experiments to 'cure' them.

Whatever you decide, one thing is certain. Don't get caught.

The year is 2030. The scientists have successfully kept their project a secret, hiding away in the bowels of Maine. They've censored, monitored, and all but controlled the mutated, posing as doctors, teachers, and trusted family members. Powers are starting to emerge and it's their job to test the limits. Conflict is rising in the souls of the sympathetic as excitement rises in the apathetic. The experiments are far from over, but the danger is just beginning.

The Genome Project is a game focusing on original characters with super powers and the scientists that mutated them.

Applications for characters under 25 are closed until May 1, unless applying for a character on our premade list. We desperately need more scientists.

Since the beginning of time the creatures of magic have been awed, wanted, and hunted down. Religions fade and fall. Fears grow and abate. The beings of this world change, grow, and they adapt.

Lost in the world grander than its dreams, a small town beckons you. Its name is Crystal Falls, nestled in the middle of one of the largest lakes of the south. The only way in is through boat or flight. There are others here like you. They live normal lives, adapting their ways as you have had to do to survive with your freedom. You wonder how many of them know. You wonder just how long you all have until the fear grows, questions go unanswered, and the hunts begin. You wonder if the humans will be able to stay, as some wish to keep the island for the mythical creatures only.

For now, this town is safe, a haven for the mystical creatures of lore. They welcome you with open arms. Most are friendly like no other place in the world. More are coming, drawn to the power already here in this enchanted land, and by the powers of the ones long settled here. The promise of protection, friendship, family, normalcy, whatever it is you want out of your life is here and now. How long will it last? Who can you trust?
