"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches...born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies...and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not...and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survive..."-The Prophecy Our story begins as 1980 dies, as the final year of the first war against Voldemort is underway. Lord Voldemort and his followers strike fear into the hearts of all. Giants and werewolves serve the Dark Lord, doing his bidding. The Death Eaters roam free, killing Mudbloods, Muggles, and Blood Traitors as they please. Hundreds have died and disappeared. As each day passes, the resistance grows weaker. Voldemort seems to be invincible and all hope is lost. That is until a Prophecy was made; a child with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies to those who have thrice defied him and with a power that the Dark Lord will not understand. This child would bring an end to Voldemort’s reign. And so the Dark Lord set out to kill this child before he can grow into a threat. The problem lay in discovering the child, for two couples who had twice defied the Dark Lord were expecting children, both due in July. In order to seek the answer, Lord Voldemort kidnapped the Unspeakable assigned to the Prophecy, assuming that there he would find the truth, but the Dark Lord did not expect Marlene McKinnon to be brave enough to deceive him. How could a child born to either the Potters or the Longbottoms be the supposed Prophecy child when their parents had only defied him twice? And the probability of them doing it a third time was inconceivable, who would be foolish enough to defy the Dark Lord that many times? She insisted that a wizard as great as he was, was foolish to waste his time on the silly words of a false seer; she believed the prophecy was false. With that lie, the children remained momentarily safe with their parents none the wiser to the fate that potentially awaited their children. Until the night of the Autumn Equinox; Halloween, 1980, when Lily and James Potter will once again defy the Dark Lord Voldemort and make the Prophecy a reality. Now the Dark Lord hunts for the couple and their son, his focus distracted from his original goal of ridding the world of those whom he found to be unworthy; all that matters now was his immortality. This leaves room for the resistance to grow stronger. And just as it seems that there is no hope for the Potters to come out of this alive, Alice and Frank Longbottom thrice defy Voldemort, sending them into hiding as well. The fate of the Wizarding World lies in the hands of two small infants and a group of vigilantes working for Dumbledore. How can they stand a chance against Voldemort and all of his forces? It’s time to find out. |
Exodus is a canon compliant RPG set in the Era of the Marauders, which follows the lives of James and Lily Potter, Frank and Alice Longbottom, the Order of the Phoenix, the Dark Lord Voldemort, and his Death Eaters during the final year of the war. The end of this story is well known, but how they get there is all up to you. Game play begins Halloween, 2009 and ends November 01, 2010. Do you have what it takes to fight this war and survive? Hi there, I'll keep this short and sweet so if I've caught your interest we can get right down to the fun part! I've been role playing for 10+ years [aol chatrooms, boards, yahoogroups, livejournal, private, ect.] Right now I'm looking for a fun and creative story to start with someone! Something that will make me excited to come online and get away from reality for a little while.
Basically I'm up for anything, one thing I am not looking for sex based play. I only play female characters and I prefer my partner to play a male, also feel comfortable playing other chars. I'm always up for medieval, fantasy, scifi, and modern with a fantasy twist. Right now I'd love a storyline with romance, adventure, a good vs. evil complex, drama, all that good stuff. Charrie abuse is always fun.
Some minor ideas I have swarming in my head: bounty hunter falls for the bounty, a vampire ridden world uses humans as slaves for blood, genetically altered human being pursued by underground forces, and that's all I've got but I'm really interested in hearing your ideas! So, if you're interested please contact me! I have cookies :D

A new dawn is approaching. The First Evil has been beaten back, crippled beyond repair. The Turok-han have been reduced to ashes. Evil everywhere has felt the shock waves of good coursing through the world. And they're afraid. Now Buffy and the Scoobies have a new mission. Organize and train the new slayers. Scotland has become their headquarters, though they are everywhere, traveling, trying to gather the girls. The Watchers council is currently being rebuilt, sects that the Bringers didn't destroy coming forward to lend a their expertise. Following the destruction of Sunnydale, there was a calm over the world unlike any had been before. A safety. However, the peace that has descended over the world is short lived. The balance between good and evil has been upset. Slayers are being killed and no one knows why or more importantly what new evil is doing it. It's up to you to find out. Watchers, witches, Slayers, even ordinary hunters are all coming out of the wood work, fighting back, trying to protect the future of good everywhere. What side are you on? This is not the Hogwarts you know. Certainly, its layout is identical, but its ghosts and professors have disappeared. They dubbed it the “Pandora virus,” or PV for short, because of its devastating nature. The virus tore through the world’s population. It killed almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and a worldwide war began. Much of earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine. |

 PREMISE Welcome to your new home. Set in crime-ridden Dark City Treno, dominated by alcohol, drugs and weapons, this place is constantly immersed in a perpetual state of darkness. Heavy black clouds loom overhead, sometimes bringing rain but never breaking to let in the sun. The city has evolved to match its environment; business is shady, outlooks are bleak, and it is unclear whether there is still light behind the clouds at all. Even the brightest linings offer little hope. In the corner flower shop, full of carnations and spools of cheap ribbon, black market narcotics and hallucinogens change hands. The local pub, complete with Guinness on tap, reserves the back three tables for weapons dealers to do business.
