Across Europe the Wizarding Community lies in fear. Voldemort and his followers are on the rise, leaving behind a reign of terror in their wake. As his numbers increase, Wizards begins to grow more uneasy, increasingly choosing to fall prey to his Empire, out of fear, unwilling to stand up and fight. In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards has begun to pull ranks, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself. Change is on the brink and the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World. Amongst the darkness, these students are potentially the light needed to give the Order the man power to take on Voldemort’s forces. Goodge Street may not be on any traveler's guides. It may not be on an online list of the must sees of London but those who live in the area like to keep it that way. Those who know of Goodge know that is was the best place to get coffee in the morning, get the newest record on vinyl (the way music should be listen to) and in the evening, have the best pint on tap. They also know that come the weekend, when the night falls, that Goodge Street was the best place to find live entertainment.
Morningside Coffee House and Bakery has a wicked open mic night. Vinyl Junkies Record Store let up and coming bands play in their shop. Bounty's Tavern has a just started doing theme nights once a month. It seems that despite there differences the three most popular buildings on the street have something in common. This only leads to competition, friendly, of course, as they try to out do themselves. Bartenders are caught at the coffee house on their day off, record store employees at the tavern and the coffee house staff everywhere in between. This is the story of the staff behind the popular establishments. The gears that make everything run smoothly, because, without them.. would Goodge Street be anything to talk about?

After the events of March 29th, 2007 our Heroes are disheartened, spread across the U.S., and quickly losing their numbers. And to make matters worse, one of their own was working up a plan that would sacrifice his peers to better himself. As if that weren't enough, someone is out there with malicious intent toward people who are "special". Someone is hunting and rounding up anyone with abilities. No one knows who the hunter is or where the hunter comes from. And no one knows where their peers are going. Will opposing sides find allies in each other to end this menace, or will they do as they always have and serve only themselves and their own purposes? Only time will tell... and time is something they're running out of.
HeroesFugitives will mirror Volume 4 of the series starting from March 30th, 2007 (after episode 3.13 Dual) and run in real time. We will be mostly AU from there, but will incorporate some of the events that take place in the rest of season 3 with our game.

West Burough is a mental institution for the menatlly ill and personality disordered. You get to pick a 'secret' as well for your character. You can either pick from the list or leave a comment in the DropBox asking to put your secret on hold for you [write what secret you want, obv.] and they'll do that and give you a number for when you apply. There's a Secrets/Gossip journal as well and two anon. mods will be posting in there every two weeks until we get more members.

 | Original Character. Future. Arranged Marriage. 17 & Up. In the year 2010 the world was plagued by the full effect of Global Warming. No country was spared, and no one could imagine the speed in which it came. Within months entire cities were underwater, drier than deserts, or completely leveled. Thousands died and there was no end in sight. Many lost hope until 2020 when the Eden Project was founded. The Eden Project was a last ditch effort by the human race. Surviving scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Eden' that would hopefully cool the atmosphere enough to put a stop to the catastrophes happening around the world. Slowly but surely the temperature began to drop and the storms slowed. In the time between the beginning of the storms to the launch of the Eden Project, the world population had dropped from nearly seven billion to a little below five. It was another six years before the effect of the 'Eden' chemical was known. It began in 2028. There were suddenly less children being born and by the end of 2029, pregnancies stopped all together. The men and women of the world were now completely sterile. It was soon discovered that the Eden chemical was the cause of the sterilization, that the one thing that had saved the world had also doomed it to an inevitable ending, the population destined to dwindle down to nothing. Now in 2048, after the population has dropped to below three billion, a solution has been found. The same lab that came up with the Eden project has been working for the past nineteen years to reverse the devastating effects without destroying the clean and near perfect atmosphere of Earth. The Fruitful project was a serum, a cure that reversed the sterilization but only in people below the age of thirty. The Global Government is taking a drastic step to increase the population. The Governments of the world began to administer the serum by either offering it for people to take willingly or slipping it into the water. To further insure that the population will continue to grow, a global law has been put into place. A marriage law. The Fruitful Law. Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive. The Fruitful project is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match? A note about the mods: The mods at Fruitful are experienced players who have seen their fair share of fantastic games...and the not-so fantastic games. First and foremost, they are players who want to be a part of an active, successful game. They are here to listen to your opinions, and to create a community of players, not just a game for characters to be played in.
