Once you've hit the big time and gained celebrity status, then you might as well kiss your privacy goodbye! Everyone wants to know all about you! Why? Because everyone knows that the lives of the rich and famous are far more interesting than anything else. In this community, that's exactly what will be played out. It's the lives of the rich and the famous- the good, the bad, and the ugly. The idea is simple. Just create a character that is a celebrity in some way- an actor, singer, author, photographer, etc... You've seen a tabloid! You get the point! Unlike most faux celeb PB communities, however, we're open to all types of celebrities, including journalists, trust fund babies with famous parents, and those who are famous for reasons that most of the world can't remember.

At the mark of the 22nd century, the human race finally cracked the code on intergalactic space travel, allowing anyone and everyone to explore the deep levels of space. New galaxies were found as alien races were discovered. Humans finally realized that they weren’t the only people in the universe, let alone the smartest race. Humanity struggled to find its place in the newly discovered community of races and most humans dwindled away, never to be seen again. As new technologies were discovered, the 'aliens' found out how much they really held a distaste for the humans. In a way to destroy their connections, they decided to implode the earth, leaving many humans stranded and alone.

With no where to go, the humans soon died off, or so everyone thought. Disorder ran through the galaxies and it was evident that a set government needed to be made and created. It was then that the Galactic Core was created, placing Kaolin Barnes as leader of their government. Little did they know at the time what the man had up his sleeve. To ensure that each and every vote was persuaded the way that he wanted it to be, he employed a group of 15 variously skilled humans to go throughout the Core System and make sure to win the votes of each and every Politician that had a say so. If he had all of them under his control, there was no possible way that people would vote against him.

Dream Weaver, one of the fastest ships in the Core armada was lent out to the bounty team. Their objective: find and use aggressive negotiations to see that the wants of the leader are portrayed in vote. In turn, the crew gets compensated for their work and get to live another day. They must be discreet, quiet, and fast with their work. If anything were to leak about the Leader of the Core being ‘bad’ then the entire system would turn. However, everything can't flow nicely in space now can it? Another group of hidden humans finally can’t stand the constant laws passing to constrict the once open government. Although, they are considered to be extinct, they feel it is their duty to help restore peace to a world that never accepted them. With this helping hand, humans might be able to be respected once more and even become citizens of this new world.

Onyx, the ship of the resistance, has finally caught wind of what the Dream Weaver is doing to the Core. If the Onyx can catch up to the Dream Weaver it may be possible that the two ships could combine to fight the Core system, to restore peace and find their place in the Galaxy once more. Or they could fuck it up even more… The year is now 2305 and the winds of change are whipping around everyone; the nagging feeling of war is filling around all. What will happen? One moment in Reesyn, and you can tell why so many supernatural/paranormal beings live there. Not only are the people more accepting, but the town itself holds a deep history and power. (The power comes from the fact that Reesyn is build upon power leys, in fact, the center of town is where two power leys meet and cross.) 16 years ago, a terrible fire ravaged the city. Buildings and business alike were damaged, lives lost. The truth of how that fire started has long been hidden, and though there are many theories no one is sure what happened, or why and who hid the truth, at least no one telling. Most buildings were repaired and reopened not long after the fire, but some sat empty for years. One in particular, the old apartment, sat empty and rundown until just recently. It's been fully restored and reopened, which may have made a few of the not so lively natives a little restless. Reesyn's your typical American town. With a few quirks. Information Reesyn is strictly an Original Character game. Reesyn is open to all things (slash, mature situations, incest, pregnancies, anything along those lines), so long as they're done realistically and you follow the games basic rules. Anybody up for a little supernatual fun? Without the crazy, undefined, confusing roles--Anathema Prep is just for you. With the roles of the races well defined, it's hard NOT to understand what's going on. The setting is realtime although it is obviously AU. All references to modern pop culture will be relevant. Anathema Prep is a high school for the recently turned Vampires and Weres, and Witches and Humans of the appropriate age. Turned is used here as a human who has been scratched/bitten or otherwise changed in any other way so that they are now genetically described as either a Vampire [the traditionally undead] or as a Were-creature. All characters and students of Anathema Prep will be of teenage mind and body. The twist to Anathema Prep is that in addition to its Supernatural background, there are premade confessions and secrets for each character. Since it's a PB game, they're running off of secrets. The more people that join, the less secrets there are so HURRY and make sure you get the one you want! We're coming back from a recent update to our information and such, so we're open to every Race except for Witches, as we have more witches than anything else right now. Welcome to The Retreat, a rehabilitation center specializing in Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome for war victims. It is funded by Saint Mungo's hospital and set within the beautiful woodlands of the Kamchatka Peninsula. We proudly boast a well trained staff of nurses and doctors specializing in psychological counseling while, at the same time, providing a healthy and nurturing sense of community and family. What our pretty brochure won't tell you, however, is that our head doctor is a bit of a bored masochist with a god-complex, magic within The Retreat has been nearly nullified, the grounds are charmed to heighten emotional responses, and there's hidden cameras set up everywhere, even behind the two-way mirrors. So won't you join us in our pseudo-quest for mental wellness in a post-war world, where even though the Dark Lord is dead, the victims of the second war can't escape the fact that they'll always be someone else's pawn and plaything.

In the small town of Wolf Lake, Washington, nothing is as it seems. For Detective John Kanin of the Seattle PD, unraveling the mystery of Wolf Lake means finding out the fate of his beloved girlfriend, Ruby Cates, the daughter of the richest man in town. For most of the residents of Wolf Lake, John Kanin is a problem that needs to be dealt with before he discovers the truth that has been staring him in the face since his arrival. And for the teenagers of Wolf Lake, a dangerous change is coming upon them that none of them are able to stop.

Amidst all the legends of shapeshifters and the baffling behavior of most of Wolf Lake's residents, a new group of strangers has arrived. They know the truth of what's going on in Wolf Lake, but even these outsiders will not be welcomed. The arrival of these outsiders poses a threat to the Wolf Lake way of life, damaging the secrecy they have fought to keep in place for generations.

This storyline is based off the short-lived television series Wolf Lake, starring Lou Diamond Phillips and Mia Kirshner. A more in-depth premise is available by clicking the link above. Familiarity with the show is not completely necessary, but we ask that all applicants watch at least the first episode of the series to get a sense of the atmosphere in Wolf Lake. If you decide to apply for a canon character, we recommend that you watch the entire nine episode series prior to applying.

PREMISE;;

Genetic mutation has always been a dirty little secret, one that wasn't easily kept. The government used to be in control of these anomalies, but there was a large jump in numbers at the turn of the millennium. More and more children were coming up with signs of genetic mutation, and blame was being placed everywhere it could be. Government testing, herbal supplements, a new enemy's war tactic, global warming, and the breakdown of the genetic structure itself. There was no explanation to give the families of those changed, and the government's only suggested cure was containment. (continued)

Metahuman is an original mutant story line based in New York City. We are a fun, active, friendly and drama-free community, seeking more! The game is futuristic (in a sense), and takes place in 2021. We allow humans, as well as mutants. The game circles around life between humans and mutants, and how they cope with one another. The game has been around for a year, at least, starting in December 2007 on greatestjournal.com. Now, the game is playing on livejournal.com.
