An Ashley Tisdale is wanted for a friends line with rossi. A Tyler Hilton or Jared Padelecki PB is wanted for a friends and possibly romance line with saari_says. A Jonathan Rhys Meyers or Nick Lachey is wanted as the cocky/jerk ex (and possibly future) boss for edenlakely. Someone is also needed to play her older step brother. And estne needs skateboarding friends and his younger sister.

Humanity witnessed the pinnacle of its evolution. For a short span of time, Earth was a veritable paradise and the genius of man seemed untouchable. They say that history wields the greatest lessons of all; a saying that has always been proven true. As technologically brilliant as we had become, we did not learn from our mistakes. We did not learn to overcome our own hubris. Each country became lofty of its achievements, while simultaneously becoming greedy for those of others. Those caught in the middle were forced to chose sides. So began a war unlike any other and, when it all ended, the paradisiacal version of Earth was lost.

It has been thirty years since and the world has yet to recover. It lies mostly barren and uninhabitable, save for a few bleak cities scattered over the northern hemisphere. Human society has attempted to pick up the pieces but struggle to remain hopeful in the face of a despotic government that monitors and regulates their every move. Some flee the dictatorship to live on the outskirts, or even in the deserts – only to cope with the perpetual sand storms, lack of resources, and those mutated by the nuclear holocaust we unleashed to end the war.

Bitter Season is an original character, post-apocalyptic roleplay game taking place in a dark but versatile world. We are looking for serious writers who love to create unique characters. Gameplay takes place on Insanejournal, though all information is located on our Wiki.

It was sometime in the early morning hours of June in the U.S. when everyone was given the signal to get where they needed to be. Not a half hour later, there were explosions, noxious gas leaks, uncontrollable fires, floods, and physical massacres all over the world. Before anyone knew what was happening and too quickly to alert anyone else for help, almost the entire mutant population was devastated and left the world in complete shock.

Now mutants are scared to reveal themselves, and with good reason. They want to search for others, survivors, more of their kind but what would the cost be? The world has changed and even a friendly face can deceive. The question before them now lies; do they cower in the shadows of the memory of how it was, or do they join together and show the world that they are strong and will overcome anything thrown against them?

Torchwood are having a bitch of a day...and the worst part is they keep on having it.
When the anomaly that brings forth a blast from Jack's past also screws up the timeline, some of the team get to change the present...one repeated day at a time.
With enemies loose and time stopping the world in its tracks can Torchwood and the visitor save the days...all the rest of them?

Set sometime between 'Voyage of the Damned' and 'Partners in Crime' for Doctor Who timeline. And about mid-season of Torchwood. So, Owen is actually the poor walking corpse in this game.

Pine Cove is a quiet town when the summer is over and the tourists leave. The town is small, and everyone has known everyone for as long as they've lived in town. Few people ever move to Pine Cove, though occasional a lifetime tourist who has a summer home there decides to stay for good. But this September will be different. On September 1st, the first day back to school and the real start of the fall, Joseph Lee will find his wife dead in their kitchen. She had been taking anti-depressants prescribed by the town's psychiatrist, Valerie Richards. Beth is the first patient Val will ever lose, and it will drive her insane. Determined to cure her patients with actual psychiatry instead of pills, pills, pills, Val will switch all of their scrips for look-alike placebos. So what happens to a quiet little town taken off of it's meds? Pine Cove is about to find out.

Genetic mutation has always been a dirty little secret, one that wasn't easily kept. The government used to be in control of these anomalies, but there was a large jump in numbers at the turn of the millennium. More and more children were coming up with signs of genetic mutation, and blame was being placed everywhere it could be. Government testing, herbal supplements, a new enemy's war tactic, global warming, and the breakdown of the genetic structure itself. There was no explanation to give the families of those changed, and the government's only suggested cure was containment. (continued)

Metahuman is an original mutant story line based in New York City. We are a fun, active, friendly and drama-free community, seeking more! The game is futuristic (in a sense), and takes place in 2021. We allow humans, as well as mutants. The game circles around life between humans and mutants, and how they cope with one another. The game has been around for a year, at least, starting in December 2007 on greatestjournal.com. Now, the game is playing on livejournal.com. "A secret school in the clouds: Sky High"
Welcome to Sky High! All super heroes start somewhere! Sky High is a private high school for the sons and daughters of our beloved heroes. But not just the offspring of our crime fighters, Sky High also teaches the exceptionally gifted students that come from a non-hero background.

The school is open to students aged 14-19 with exceptional abilities and the strive to help make a better tomorrow. The campus is in a special location in the clouds, funded by donations and private investors. Sky High is run by a staff that cares about youth development and a brighter future.

Students will attend classes like: Villainy, Ethics, Offensive and Defensive Fighting, Problem Solving, and Endurance. Along with these classes, the students will also be learning more mainstream subjects such as: Maths, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies.

Just like a regular public school, Sky High also offers after school programs. The students can join Sports Teams(Lacrosse, Swimming, Track, and Baseball), Cheerleading, and Drama. All after school activities require a physical and dues.

Developing young minds to serve and protect life is what we're here for. We look forward to seeing you in class!

Hogwarts Carefree

It's been nineteen years since the end of the war. None of the students currently attending Hogwarts have experienced war though their parents were there when the war ended. However, they don't know much about the details as their parents and grandparents don't really like to talk about that time. The students of Hogwarts have no clue how lucky they are to have the carefree existence they experience today. They go to school and make friends without too many concerns. While students are still sorted into the four traditional houses, students no longer go to class with everyone from their house. Each class is evenly split between the houses so as to encourage inter-house relations. Of course, some of the old prejudices still reign, but they aren't as openly voiced as in the past. And while, the Muggle world has made advances in technology, the Wizarding world has kept to their traditonal devices even though their ideals have changed.
