 - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! We're Currently Looking for: GWEN, DONNA, MARTHA, OWEN, DOCTORs, CAPTAIN JOHN, SALLY, RHYS, other Canon characters from Torchwood, Doctor Who or Sarah Jane Adventures, people for the Torchwood Teams, Civilians, Aliens, Bad Guys, and more! |

 For 40 years, representatives of the Colonial Fleet travelled to Armistice Station to meet with their Cylon enemies. For 40 years, the Cylons never showed. During the dawn of a new era of technology, the most advanced and world renowned scientists; called the White Faction centered in Germany, came together in celebration of this new, and rather out of the ordinary, technology that had been created. The use of AI, the creation of mass weaponry, the control of worlds itself, and even the power to control several aspects of nature had been slowly formulating under the very eyes of the public. To the publics unknown knowledge, the scientists began to formulate the basic fundamentals to their main goal; creating the perfect study of mankind. A city was created to be inhabited by the select few they deemed worth testing. The city is composed of four districts: The residential district, the city district, the business district, and the outskirts (detail). It was engineered to hold as many people as they wanted, to take care of them, and most importantly, rigged with everything they needed to record, observe, and test their live specimens. The city is completely abandoned yet they do high maintenance on it so that it always looks spotless and clean (mostly at night). The only body that resides within the city is a hologram replication of a female- the hostess of the city by the name of Persephone. She was created for the soul purpose of controlling what happened within the city and was also the debriefing subject to newcomers. All in all, she is the face of the scientists. The city and its districts is surrounded by immense and very thick walls shielded with weapons, explosives, and even a mechanical guard or two. In order to reach the wall, a character would have to go through a mine field, an area covered with heat seeking missiles and finally, an array of motion detecting rows of weaponry covering the walls. The scientists felt confident enough that they could recreate and revive and specimen. This is where you come in. As a character, you will find yourself transported into this city. The scientists have the technology to literally transport you from one place to another with a blink of an eye. You, along with your fellow characters will have to survive living in the abandoned city. Housing will be provided for you when you first arrive. |

It's Fall 1995, When Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Hogwarts. A few changes have been made to the staff over the summer, the most noticeable being the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor; A Mr. Tom Marvolo Riddle. His new post is widely questioned by the wizarding world; The man has been convicted of murders throughout the seventies, why would Dumbledore hire him to teach young children? Dumbledore simply plays it off saying that he has applied "twice before". That he has not been able to be convicted of anything. Mr. Riddle has, after all, been studying abroad since the 1980's, and is very knowledgeable on his subject.
But no one expects what comes next- Not only are Hogsmeade and the Ministry of Magic attacked- but Hogwarts also comes under fire. It is at the attack when Tom Riddle becomes Lord Voldemort and attempts to kill Harry Potter. But when the wands create a phenomena called 'Prior Incantato' and Lily Potter breaks the spell in a desperate attempt to save her son- The 'Boy who lived' is victorious. Voldemort goes into hiding, and The Potter family gains instant fame.
Although the Ministry of Magic would like to believe the Dark Lord is dead- he is only in hiding- giving orders to his faithful from the shadows. The Dark Lord still lives, and plans to ascend..
