Draco knew that he was behind with his Christmas gifts, if he was honest he hadn't bought any of them. The only person that he had checked off his list so far this year was Blaise, and he had gone overboard there. It was their first Christmas together, and while he wasn't usually the sentimental sort, he was excited to spend his first Christmas with Blaise. They weren't hiding their relationship from Oya or Narcissa, they were being completely open with everyone about what was going on between them. Draco had never felt so free in his life. He wasn't entirely sure if he would have been able to handle keeping another secret from the world, and he's glad he'll never have to find out. They were happy, they were really good.
That was why Draco knew that what he was going to do right now was unfair. He was being completely unfair, and pulling what he liked to refer to as 'Pulling a Calypso'. He was about to walk into his boyfriend's office, pout, maybe even get on his knees, but he was intending to walk out of that office with his boyfriend on his arm. Draco needed Blaise's help with the gifts, he was always the best at giving gifts. He was intending to use the excuse that they needed to get ma petite a gift as well to get him out of the office, he was hopeful that mention of their pregnant little friend might help entice him to give up work for the rest of the day and sneak off with his boyfriend. There had to be some perks to being the boss, right?
He arrived unannounced, and wasn't at all upset when he needed to wait to go in and see Blaise. He knew that Blaise was busy, which was another reason it was unfair that Draco was about to do this. When he was finally able to head in, he flashed a smile to the room, before slipping into Blaise's office. "Have you finished your Christmas shopping?" He asked casually, as he pulled the office door shut behind himself.
