BEGINNING PLOT POST

PLOTTING DAY

WTF IS PLOTTING DAY?
IIII'M sure we all know how this works, right? But just for formality's sake. <3

Plotting Days occur at least once a month, providing a way for players to toss out ideas for what their character(s) will be doing for the month, scenes they'd like to do, lines they'd like to explore, etc. Other players can then come along and volunteer or contribute to your plot.

It should also be noted that Plotting Days are generally most active during the first 24 hours that the post is up. If you happen to miss the initial Plotting Day post, don't panic! You can still offer yourself up for plots in the OOC comm.

TIP: Bullet lists are snazzy and easier to read than single paragraphs!

GAMEWIDE PLOT ACTIVITIES FOR JULY
• We're going to open the game with a little founder's day celebration! We figured that would be the best way to get people interacting. I'll be putting up a group scene directly! You guys totally aren't limited to that, though! If your character wouldn't be at the celebration, or celebrating the celebration, you're more than welcome to put up an open scene in the comm!

• People getting focuses at game start can receive them whenever you want. At the founders day celebration? Later on in the night? The next day or so?

• What kind of storylines do you want for your kids? Ask and pimp for them here for them if you want! You guys know how it works!

✤ Dylan is pretty much Cody 2.0 – So a good guy who’s prone to doing what’s right or what he feels is best. Right now he’s the owner of a pub and the leader of the Nubis resistance. He lost his wife to a focus, so he’s got a strong desire to end them.
✤ FRIENDS! Right now he’s got Mason as a friend and Renae, but I’d love for him to have more!
✤ Also connections through his kidlets, maybe babysitters or something else? He’s got two little girls this time around and definitely feeling a little lost when it comes to dealing with them.
✤ His ability is Vertigo inducement – I’d love to play around with this, maybe screw with people a little bit?
✤ Celebrations aren’t really his thing, but I’m open to him running into someone at the Founders day celebration – he’s still a friendly guy, if a little moodier due to the lose of his wife.
✤ Connections with Nubis people! Or people who’re helping Nubis out. XD

	Milo is not Nubis, but given that Mason is Dylan's 2IC he's probably familiar with Dylan. So friends there maybe? Nat has probably had some interaction with the resistance and by extension Dylan. 	Yes, definitely friends! It would probably only make sense, and Dylan's probably not fazed by her one bit. OMG! THAT WOULD BE SO AMUSING. XD Especially since Dylan's pretty close to Ranae and definitely protective of her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

MASON IS STILL TOTES GOING TO ENABLE HIM TO BE MISCHIEVOUS WITH HIS ABILITY. XD

I def want to see if he and Savannah can work out a friendship. They both need more friends. XD Would he babysit for her once in a while, do you think? She sort of wants a dude babysitter so that her son can have more guys in his life. She'd offer to babysit in return!

Nina's connected with Sub Aquam resistance, so possibly a connection with Nubis as well!

And Carly would be friendly if they ever met!

I'm not sure about Jo, though. So we'll see with them.

Totally! They do both need more friends and their dynamic at IoS was really interesting I thought. He would definitely babysit for her if she asked, because he understands being a single parent and wanting your child exposed to a gender role model. Dylan would also take her up on the offer of baby-sitting.

And Dylan would be friendly right back!

IDK how he would react to Jo either, so definitely a 'we'll see' situation.

RANAE CALLS PICKLE HER COMPLETELY PLATONIC SOUL MATE AND BEGS THAT HE PLEASE DOESN'T MAKE THEO NEVER WANT TO COME AND SEE HER AGAIN. That said, he can accidentally screw with her? XD Nae definitely babysits as much as she can for him too, btw.

I've got Oren and Quinn involved in Nubis, too, so they're obviously familiar with one another.

Also Yuri. He tries to ensure that the two resistances maintain good relations, I'm sure.

DYLAN IS ROLLING HIS EYES ABOUT THE NICKNAME AND AGREES ON THE PLATONIC SOUL MATE FRONT. HE SAYS HE WON'T MAKE THEO LEAVE....BUT HE IS GOING TO KEEP AN EYE ON HIM. Likewise, I think Dylan will babysit for Nae whenever she needs it.

Definitely! And with Oren being Mason's brother it would only make sense.

Yeah, I think Dylan does the same thing so I would imagine he and Yuri are on good terms.

Nae is like "you don't have to keep an eye on him. I trust him, doesn't that count for something?" I'd like to do something, even just a network interaction, maybe, with these two asap. I think the history can only make the fun that we had with them before even better.

Quinn is despondently going to tell Dylan about his focus soon, too. He doesn't think that the resistance will go under anytime soon, but he still feels worried and will tell him just that. XD

Which will make his focus all that much easier? ALTHOUGH THE TWIST WE TALKED ABOUT WILL BE FUN WHEN YURI DISCOVERS IT.

Dylan respects how Nae feels and does trust her judgment, but he's also protective by nature. So he's going to keep an eye on Theo until he knows that the guy isn't going to pull a disappearing act on her. YES! We need to get some actual in-game interaction going on between these two, especially since they've got more of a history this time around.

And he'll appreciate knowing about the focus, and may even tell Quinn about his own focus at the same time.

Yes it will! AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE TWIST WE TALKED ABOUT.
