"You probably shouldn't have asked him," Roger agreed, although his tone was mild. "I mean, I get why you'd ask him," he added meaningfully. He cleared his throat and rubbed at his neck a bit before continuing to sort books while Meg turned away form him. "Except he'd be terrible protection. Too hotheaded, doesn't think. Would love to die epically at your feet." Though his eyes were the same, a wry smile tugged at his lips.
"Yeah, I read your journal. Y'know, f you really want some sense of normalcy with Spencer," and there, it was finally said out loud, "you shouldn't rile him up with roommates like Seamus. I mean, he's a great guy. Spencer would probably agree, but not a great roommate for little nutmeg," he raised his eyebrows.
"But I suppose you don't really care what he has to say?"
