Shutting the door carefully behind him, she turned to face him. Sometimes she wondered if things had changed at all between she and Seth, and then there were times when the change in their relationship were so blatant it was almost painful. Like now, for example. It was like trying to pass someone who tries to pass you at the same time. You both move right, then left. You laugh nervously and try again, only to end up doing some awkward sort of dance around each other until someone finally works up the gall to make a dash for it.
They had been dancing around each other for years now. It could be rather exhausting at times.
