RP Thread - Tracey and Aidan
Who: Tracey and Aidan
Where: Tracey's hotel room, Chelsmore Hotel
When: Sept 4 morning
What: The morning after dawns with unsettling realisations
Tracey woke up completely disoriented. Despite having traveled so frequently over the past five years, it still took her some time to figure out where she was, what time zone she was in and, more often than not, who she'd slept with the night before. At least this time she wasn't drunk. Mornings were bad enough without hangovers to deal with.
With a groan, she pushed herself up. The other side of the bed was rumpled but empty; her latest shag must have left before she'd woken up. What was his name again? Adrian? No, she knew Adrian. A-something. It was Irish, anyway. Whatever it was, she was irked at him. Men weren't supposed to leave before she kicked them out; it simply wasn't done. It irked her even more because this particular one -- Aidan! That was his name. She knew it was something sufficiently Potato-like. This particular one had actually been a magnificent shag. Their chemistry had completely taken Tracey aback, and she wouldn't have minded one more in the morning before she kicked him out. The fact that he'd gone before she had a chance was just really, really annoying.
But at least he wouldn't see her as she was first thing in the morning. Tracey was extremely self-conscious about her looks, and despite all her efforts, she fell victim to morning breath and bad morning hair as much as as anyone else. She was going to have to take a shower before she left to see her sister. But first...she needed coffee. Her suite had come fully furnished complete with kitchen, although really, what did they expect her to do with a kitchen? Make her own coffee? Maybe it was for the house elves, but who'd travel around with a house elf anyway? Those were far too much maintenance.
Where was she? Right. Coffee. She needed to call down for house elf service. Where was the bell pull? With some effort, she hauled herself out of bed and left the bedroom. She'd better not have to look very hard for it.
