He'd been working nonstop as of late, so Ron was always generally excited when he managed to scramble a day off in for himself. He had been home, lounging about in an armchair with the newest edition of Quidditch Weekly spread out in front of him. The Weasley had been entirely lost in an article about the Cannons and their returning season when he heard someone at his door. Brows rising a little, Ron glanced down at his watch and slowly slid out of the chair. Rubbing at the back of his head, he wandered over to the door and pulled it open.
There, he found, was Hermione.
"Hermione," he started, pulling the door even wider as he gestured for her to step inside. He hadn't been expecting her, but it didn't matter. Hermione was always more than a little welcome when it came down to her coming over to his place.
