Who: Megan and OPEN
Where: Hogsmeade
When: Tuesday
What: Megan wasn't made for heavy lifting
Rating: TBD

Sometimes Megan Jones did really idiotic things in her life. She had once dyed her hair blonde (secretly and only for about an hour until she could figure out how to change it back), for example. But all the truly stupid decisions she had made just didn't seem to add up to her most recent moment. In fact, Megan was almost certain she had never regretted anything so much before as sleeping with Spencer Capper last week.

It was, obviously, a heat of the moment thing. Really, with how close they somehow managed to remain after their split it was easy to fall back into something that had once been completely natural. But now that it was over with, it felt considerably less okay, and Megan wanted nothing more than to beat the memory out of her head.

With the pile of books in her arms providing a blunt object ready for action, she had almost gone through with it, before realizing it would probably just leave a bruise and make her feel like even more of an idiot. Instead, she had piled up the books and started for her shop, a perilous journey when one could hardly see over a tower of hardbacks, which seemed to get heavier with every step. She probably should have seen it coming with how splendidly everything else in her life was going, but it had all happened rather quickly. One instant she was side-stepping to avoid a tall woman in an overly large hat, and the next she was stumbling over what may or may not have been her own feet. To save herself, the books were sacrificed, all seven of them toppling over in one glorious clatter of a moment.

"Awesome," she grumbled, frowning down at the haphazard pile of literature. "Grand. Just perfect." And with a weak sigh, she stooped down to pick them up, glaring at the title of the top book. "It's a Wonderful Life, my arse."

"Well, if some people didn't make the messes in the first place, it wouldn't be such a problem," she retorted, smirking. True, she could be as messy as most boys when she had a decent amount of alcohol in her, but she liked putting Terry on the spot.

"Pffft. Some hero you are. 'Sorry, you're too high up! Let me know when you've gone down a few stories!'"

Megan eyed Terry suspiciously as he told her he had planned on coming over. The mention of bringing her candy did help his response a bit. "You were bringing me candy?" Her arms crossed over her chest, and she continued as if she was interrogating him. "What kind?"

Terry opened his mouth to speak, but closed it. "Well...I'm only one of many. My portion of messes is very small compared to others."

A smirk appeared on Terry's face and he laughed. "It's not my fault I'm afraid of heights. But I suppose I apparate up to get you or something. Maybe get a firefighter to climb one of their really tall ladders to grab you for me. Either way you'd get rescued, yeah?"

A bit hesitantly, Terry, once again adjusted the books he was carrying. "Chocolate frogs?" He just started naming candies. "Bernie Botts? ....I was going to look around and pick when I got there?" He hoped that was an acceptable answer. "Look," He started up again with a small sigh. "I'm sorry I kinda forgot to make plans to give you a visit. How about I make it up to you and we spoil both of our sweet tooths by buying lots of candy?"
