Heya, bunker down folks, cause this is going to be a long, rambling, mod post.
Firstly, please give a warm welcome to Aurora who is taking on Tracey Davis. Our darling Sarah is also adding on a second character in the form of Justin Finch-Fletchley.

Now, some other orders of business:
1. I AM MOVING
As of Friday I am moving and I'll be starting my 2nd year of dent school. I will be definitely time pressed and I'm also not sure how much time I'll have over this particular weekend. So, unfortunately, I will be a lot less accessible than I have been this summer. If you cannot get me online, please e-mail veritasmod@gmail.com
2. THE PLOT
To make sure the plots run smoothly over this semester, I have written up most of the subplot relating to the Flor da juventude. Originally I had planned to have it well underway by now, but the busyness and influx of all our new (INCREDIBLE) players have pushed it forward a little bit. Also, during this semester, we will see the beginnings of Wizards for Muggles. A Dumbledore's Army subplot by Becka and Odyssey will also be in play. Do not worry, we will not overwhelm with plots, but we hope to have a continous base for your characters to react to.
That said, we have a lot of great players and characters, and even though our RP is not exceedingly large, it is easy sometimes to find yourself lost. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN. If you feel EVER feel confused or lacking a plot for your character TALK TO THE MODS or post that you're looking for plot on the OOC board. We adore you all, but unfortunately, I can't be puppetmastering much over the school term and coming to people with plots designed around them without knowing that you want a plot, and also what sort of plot that would be. We have lots going on, so jump in! :D
In terms of the Flor da Juventude plot, if you have any comments, speculations, please let me know because until the punch line, I'd love to see where you guys think it's going n_n
3. NEW CHARACTERS/PLAYERS
I think we're doing rather well for ourselves, and I do not want the RP to get too big that it is no longer manageable. So, once we work through some holds and applications that have already come through - I will post up a wanted storylines page and most likely will only accept new characters from that list for a little while.
The exceptions:
a) If you are a member and you want a 2nd or 3rd character, you can choose whoever you want. Also, if you have recruited a really awesome player, let us know, and we will give them special consideration.
b) If an application is INCREDIBLE phenomonal or unique then they will be accepted.
I want to give time for everyone to interact with one another and learn eachother's characters.
4. REMINDERS
a) Tag all your threads.
b) If extremely busy let us know your departure and expected return date to the RP
c) IF YOU WANT A PLOT like a worst enemy or a romance or whatnot, POST IT ON THE OOC BOARD making it known so others can comment if they are interested.
5. CREATIVE ARTICLES
I've received some interest in people writing the occasional newspaper article, etc etc. If you are interested then do so, simply email it to us. Honestly, anything creative - advertisements for some wizarding item, an article, a wizarding book excerpt...basically whatever you're interested in doing would always be loved. :D
I am seriously so happy with everyone here, I'd like to give out Veritas Awards but I think that everyone receiving one would negate the purpose. You're all so talented and creative that honestly, I'm in awe of being in the same RP with you and it's a honor to be your mod :D
