Day 10: Forest - 1:15pm
Who: OTA
What: Seven point five
When: 1:15pm - 5:00pm
Where: Forest
Rating: TBA
Status: Active

The sun was shining high in the sky and a gentle breeze stroked the leaves of the trees, making them, along with the severed stub of rope on the clock face from the day previous sway lazily. It was quiet. Perhaps it was too quiet, for the lack of birds chirping or insects buzzing.

All in all, the day was one of the most pleasant as of yet for the bulk of the involuntary residents of Vas Captio, save, of course, the heat. Maybe it was a bit too hot to be entirely comfortable.

It started small, as most things do. Leaves rustled and bushes shivered, creating a pleasant woodsy sound of wind lacing its way through the greenery. Any birds or animal stopped, sitting silent in anticipation of what is about to come. They sense it.

The ground grumbled and heaved violently then. Several large trees cracked and groaned, splitting in half and crashing to the forest floor. Other large trees simply uprooted along the path of the rumbling, falling into smaller trees and bushes. Parts of the forest floor ripped open with steaming pockets of hot air rising out of them to sear or burn anyone that happened to be nearby them. The birds shot up out of their trees, flying out across the town in huge droves. Deer and other animals ran in every direction, seeking shelter of clearings or open air.

All along the edges of the forest, the glass wall rippled. In town, if anyone happened to look up at the sky, they would see this affect as a shimmering, prismatic shiver. The sounds of destruction from all parts of Vas Captio would carry up and along the dome, sending voices and noise to other parts of the town and forests in massive cacophony and confusion. Someone in the gas station might sound as though they were at the barn and so on and so forth.

Through the entire quake, the glass wall will stand firm. It will not crack or crumble even in the minutest way. It is untouched when all goes quiet again.

Vas Captio was still, again, and silent once more.

He was in bad shape. Worse, it could have been, and she had seen such states of completely broken bodies. With lifeless eyes that had to be laid out in the Great Hall. Still, he was her friend, she did not know what else he could possibly be, but at least her friend. And she did not want to see him injured at all, let alone broken bones and blood.

Dean coughed and sputtered, and one of her hands stilled on his upper arm, where he was uninjured, her fingers spread out to curl around his bicep. "Breathe slowly, it will hurt less," dreamy tone not lost for the Earth's attempt to shake them off into the sky, Luna did her best to be soothing. Thinking nothing less of him for the tears that were flowing, knowing that when you were in pain, you were in pain. And without pain potions, or something of the Muggles' 'medicine,' she could not change it at the moment.

Not that she would give him that Ketamine potion. Never.

The hand she had on his arm was badly burned, and while she was not feeling the pain immediately, when it would be pointed out later, she would feel it intensely. Since her awakening she had gained a few minor scrapes, including her knees, she was disheveled and that white sundress she had initially arrived in was dirty. But all in all, "I am okay." With the back of the knuckles of her free hand, and her thumb, she brushed away the tears that were streaking down his face. "You protected me."

A small warm smile passed onto her lips, fully making its way into her eyes and her usually far off expression. "Thank you," even as she spoke she was wishing for her wand so that she could send off a Patronus to alert a need for help. Her injured hand was picked up, and she winced at the minute pain that was growing as she held it up. Concentration had a small bubble appearing just over her palm, without directing anything exactly it began to glow from within with a faint golden light. But nothing like the beaming white hare that was her patronus.

Dean couldn't quite hear what Luna was saying. It was Luna, wasn't it? He'd taken a couple of hard kicks to the head. Maybe he was hallucinating? His side hurt where the ribs were fractured and he groaned, trying to slow his breathing the way he'd been trained. It was sort of comforting that he had actual training to fall back on in situations like this. He was able to focus his mind on something other than the pain and try to force his ears to work. Force his mind to stay awake and alert. If he had a concussion on top of everything else, it would be a bad idea if he lost consciousness.

Blinking hard against the tears and the blood that had dribbled into his eyes before she'd wiped it away, he tried to look up at her. She was nothing more than a bleary shadow above him though. He gritted his teeth against the pain that seemed to be slowly creeping up on him faster and faster now that the shock of what had happened was wearing off and the adrenaline left his system.

He winced as he made the effort to speak again, trying to keep his mind functioning with humor. "Lexie just fixed my hands. How am I going to play with the bunnies now?"

He tried to laugh but it came out as more of a moaning in the back of his throat. Everything hurt now. Even places that had not been broken were bruised at the very least. He was just glad to note she was up and moving. She couldn't be too hurt if she could move around.

He thought he caught her saying, "Thank you," and he shook his head. Bad move. His head suddenly felt split in half with a tremendous pain. He gasped and closed his eyes, one hand instinctively and painfully rushing to his forehead. He couldn't, would not scream. Suddenly that didn't seem to matter anymore. A golden light filled his mind from under his eyelids and he wondered if he would see heaven as he slipped out of consciousness.

Luna was not sure just what to do. She had no medical healing training, and certainly none without magic. No wand to bind his broken limbs, or send a patronus for help.

"We will fix your hands," she wiped away another trickle of blood headed for his eyes, "So you can play with fluffy lagomorphs." Her words were soon followed by a shake of his head, and before she could warn him that it was a bad idea, he lifted his unbroken forearm and brought a broken hand to his face. It was with a sympathetic wince, and worry bleeding into her face that she watched him slip into mental darkness. Carefully, she caught his wrist before it fell, lying it carefully over his chest so that it would not be further damaged.

With one last brush of her fingertips across his forehead, Luna stood and went off to find help. Knowing that time could be a quite decisive factor.

For all her amusement over much humor, Monty Python especially, Luna was a bit too literal at times to 'get' the strange humor of the Americans she had met here. British humor she could often understand, but American humor seemed just odd, more than anything else.

It was a far shorter return to bring the strange red haired man to Dean to help, following the path of golden bubbles. A fact she was grateful for. "Sticks? For...splints, yes." Without magic they could not simply immobilize broken bones that way, she knew Muggles often used hard and thin objects to tie themselves to in a very basic sort of precaution against further damage. A brilliant idea, really. "Oh, there he is." Relief flickered in her tone, although she did sound as if she was half surprised to find Dean still lying on the ground where she had had to leave him. And half unsurprised that nothing changed while she was gone.

Gambit had followed calmly behind the whole way and when she announced that she could see her friend, he lifted his chin some to focus on the body on the ground, then was working his way through the thick underbrush to get to him. "Sticks, for splin's." The Cajun meant it as a command for the girl, who didn't seem like she'd be a lot of help.. but who could surely grab some sticks from the forest. "T'ick ones. Don' worry 'bout breakin' 'dem, jus' bring 'dem here. An' don' take your time, non?" Though, after those commands were given, Gambit directed those red eyes down to the young man on the ground. Dean, was it? He looked pretty messed up, so he had no interest in waiting for him to wake up.

So the coated man slapped him in the face. None-too-gently, either. It'd leave a mark, and it'd sting plenty enough to snap the other out of his unconscious spurt. "Wake up." The sharp demand would surely help bring him out of it, once the slap woke him. "You gotta tell me wha' hur's, I ain' psychic," Okay, well he was, just a little -- but this didn't count. "An' you gotta stay 'wake. None of 'dis sleepin' on my wa'ch." Especially not if he had a concussion, which it looked like he might, with as beat up as he was. "I guess 'dis teach you not to piss of 'de ladies, non? Nex' time, she may not let you off so easy." He was, of course, implying that the blonde girl gathering sticks had done this to him.

Dean heard movement and felt words being forced into his ears. Half of it made no sense and he sort of thought that maybe he had suffered some brain damage. Who belonged to that male voice? Was that Dad? Sam? The wind whispered and whistled in his ears and felt like he was swimming in fog inside his head. It wasn't warm and inviting anymore as it had been when he'd seen the golden light through his eyelids and slid easily into sleep. He hadn't dreamed either. Unless this was a dream.

There was a sudden, sharp crack to his cheek and this sure as fuck was not a dream anymore. Dean gasped and his eyes flew open with a holler of surprise. He tried to scramble to his feet but suddenly everything hurt and he slumped over onto his side again. What was wrong with his hands?

It flooded back to him then. The entire onrushing mob of animals. Luna curled beneath him as he took the blows from the scared creatures. His hands broken, elbow dislocated, among other things. His eyes flicked wildly around him to find Luna but what he saw instead was a man. With red eyes.

"Stay away from me, demon," he managed to whisper through gritted teeth before groaning in pain.

As directed, Luna collected strong but thin limbs of wood, the ones she decided looked the best candidates for splint-age. No, she did not take her time, it would have been quite silly to do so, time was often of the essence when individuals were injured. She had just returned with her armful of future splints, in time to watch with wide eyes the aftermath of the still unnamed man slapping Dean awake.

She set her load aside, gingerly settling down in a kneel beside Dean, placing her uninjured hand on his equally uninjured shoulder. Well, likely bruised, poor guy. When Dean had been looking around for her, she had been conveniently just behind the man with red eyes, picking up her last stick. "Dean, I retrieved assistance," speaking in a calm tone, unsure if he heard her, as he had not the last time she had attempted to soothe him, Luna kept her eyes on the man on the ground. "I cannot fix your shoulder, but he says he can."

The world had stopped shaking, and she might not know where Sam, Andy and Tonks were, but at least there was someone to help her bring Dean to a place where he could be helped. It was enough for her just then. Hopefully the others she considered friends in this place would be there as well, she remembered Healer Martha having Muggle medical things in the gym, perhaps they were still there. As well as further help.

Catching what Dean had whispered, she cocked her head, looking over at her red-eyed helper. "Demon?" Had Sam and Andy not spoken of a yellow eyed demon?

When Dean suddenly called him a demon, it made Remy's eyebrows go up and he stared down at him for a moment, then a slow grin curved his lips. "Oh, Demon? You t'ink I'm uh demon? I'm Cajun, boy." Nevermind that Dean was probably three or four years his senior. "Demon." Repeated with a shake of his head, red hair swinging as he did. One gloved hand reached down touch at the injured arm, feeling briefly around the should to assure it was properly in place, before he slid that hand down over his bicep to his elbow, where it was clear to tell that it was grossly out of socket.

"I'm gonna enjoy 'dis." And, just like the Doctor, without any warning, Gambit was spreading his knees out some, putting one knee down on his bicep to hold him still, while he gripped onto his forearm (which was unfortunately broken, but he'd deal with that next) and with a sickening noise, wrenched the elbow back into its socket, as well."'Dat's gon' be sore a bit." That was almost cheerfully said, from the red-eyed man. It probably hurt more than it needed to, since Gambit wasn't using both hands, but rather a leg to help instead, thanks to his own earlier injury.

"I de'vour' your soul, or wha'ever it is 'dat you t'ink demons do, once I fix your ouchies, non? Your forearm is broken. Look like your hands, too." They were already turning purple. "Maybe 'de wris's." Dean, who was likely in way too much pain to move now, would be kept compliant with some shoving from the Cajun, if he decided he didn't want to stay still. And if he *really* acted up, Gambit wouldn't hesitate to whack him in his broken arm to get compliance through overwhelming pain.

"Don' t'ink I'm gettin' fresh, now, Dean," Of course he knew your name, how awkward was it that neither of them knew his? "You ain' my type." Though even as he said that, he was lowering both partially gloved hands to tear open the other man's shirt down the middle, then he was tearing it open at the shoulders so that he could pull it off and out from under him, to use for bandaging around the splints, of course.

Dean felt Luna's gentle touch and could make out her voice now. His mind was starting to unfuzz but he was in such an inordinate amount of pain from his broken, throbbing hands and ribs that he couldn't answer her except to nod very very slowly this time. He understood what she was saying. That this red-eyed person was here to help.

Which made it all the worse when the dude started to force his elbow back into the socket. He cried out in pain as whatever the guy had done made his bones crunch and muscles spasm violently. "You red-eyed fucker!" he growled as red pain suddenly flooded in behind his eyes. "Going to fucking kill you."

Dean screamed as the joint popped back into place, pulling his arms away from the guy and curling into himself in a near fetal position. He wanted to get up and kick the guy in the head except he knew that what he'd done for Dean's elbow had been necessary. Whatever else he might have done, he'd at least helped with that.

He had little choice than to allow the man to rip at his clothes though. By the time he'd worked to that point, Dean was in so much pain that he couldn't focus on anything else. It was all he could do to keep conscious with each jolt and jar to his broken and bruised body.

"Aw, don' flatter me. Now hol' still. 'Dis gon' hur', too." He was going to force that broken bone in his forearm to where it belonged, and he knew that would certainly get some bad language out of the other man. "An' don' curse 'roun' 'de lady. She got delica'e ears." A scold to the injured man, even as Gambit was moving his left hand (on the injured arm) around to grip just below his elbow, while the good one gripped above his wrist. "Deep breat'." He advised just before he pulled the arm apart slightly, then twisted the bone so he could push it back into the place it should be. That would really, really hurt.

"Stick." Insisted back to the blonde as he released both sides of Dean's arm. "Don' move." That command was forcefully snapped to Dean, as Luna handed over that stick and he snapped it into two equal parts, then pressed one on either side of his forearm, before tearing off a long strip of the ruined shirt, to wrap it around those sticks and hold them (uncomfortably tight, as necessary) close to his arm. "'Dere we go. Now keep up 'dat shou'in', gon' help keep you 'wake when I do your hands."

Gambit, of course, was no doctor.. and forcing a big bone like an arm (even with it actually being two bones) back into place was much easier than doing hands or wrists. So he wasn't going to attempt to do anything with them, he was only going to stabilize them with sticks and the shirt, so that they wouldn't get knocked around as badly when they moved him.

"Gimme three more." Sticks, of course. And the request was calmly sent aside to Luna. Calm, easy-going Gambit. He hated this Hero stuff.

No matter having seen carnage before, Luna could not help but mix a wince of sympathy with an instinctive rising of disgust/disturbance at the sound Dean's elbow made as it was popped into place. While she did not exactly understand the red haired man's logic, it seemed to make sense, as she had absolutely no experience with any demonic individuals that were truly 'demonic.' But something about Cajun and Demonic just did not seem to meld well.

A flicker of dismay shone through her expression, before it slid back beneath the surface, with Dean's scream of pain. It was a sound she absolutely hated, and dreamed of, not his, but the screams of others. The screams she herself had made. Taking care with where she touched him, she brushed her knuckles over his jaw as he curled as much as he could into himself. Best she could do was counteract the Cajun's horrid bedside manner with attempts to soothe and calm, if only a little, if only by being slightly distracting. Even if she well knew that intense pain overtook every other thought.

When it was demanded, Luna handed over one of the sticks from the pile by her side. Just as she did when he asked/demanded for three more.

There was not much that she could do, but she was willing and able to help in any way that she could.

"Fuhhhck you," Dean hollered as loud as his cracked ribs would allow him to. Luna had heard him use this language before and it wasn't like he was thinking about what he said before he said it. He was on auto-pilot at this point.

Somewhere deep inside his pain-riddled mind it occurred to Dean that he had very easily just allowed this stranger to do whatever he felt like. Dean was in such a vulnerable position that he couldn't object or even assess the situation beyond what was happening in that second and the pain her was feeling. He really didn't even know if Luna was Luna or a clone or some other such abomination the sick jerks running this place had thought up. She'd been gone. Taken just like him, he'd been sure of it. They could have sent anything back in her place.

None of which fought its way hard enough to the surface of his thoughts to be of any consequence. He shouted out hoarsely as the red-eyed man - demon! - wrenched his forearm back into shape. He instinctively curled inward again, his breath coming in rasping half-sobs. "No more, no more. Give me a minute," he gasped, rolling slightly as his arm seared with new pain.

Vaguely he could feel the tender touch of Luna's knuckles on his jaw but he could do nothing to respond to her. Inwardly he was grateful she was beside him but that thought was a brief, fleeting thing, gone quickly as his arm was caught up to be splinted. He coughed and wheezed, trying to breathe slowly and deeply through the pain of it all. Being this out of control was starting to get to him but he couldn't do a damn thing about it.

Gambit shook his head, smiling even as the other man begged to be given a minute, even as he begged for no more. But the Cajun continued. He couldn't stop then, not with the arm set at rights. If Dean wiggled around he'd mess it up and it'd have to be done all over again. However, once he had the sticks on, and the new sticks in his hand, he was sitting back in his heels to allow Dean some time to catch his breath and let the pain turn from a stabbing one into a dull ache.

"We ain' done yet. You take a res', but don' t'ink you can sleep, Gamin. Your han's are nex'. 'Den we get you to 'de Gym, 'dey got doc'ers 'dere. 'Dey set your han's up righ'. I'm jus' gon' make sure 'dey don' move 'roun' too much when we move you. You t'ink you gon' be able to walk alrigh'?" He was lifting up to his feet in a graceful, fluid motion as he asked. His knees hurt and he was tired of crouching over. Both hands found their way into his pockets again.

"Wha's your name?" He finally asked, to the blonde girl hovering nervously over the injured guy. It wouldn't due not to know her name, right?

Honestly she had thought that what had happened with Andy and Lexie had been the worst example of Muggle patching up that she would see. Imagine, using floss for teeth to stitch someone up like a pillow. But watching Dean cry out in an extreme pain, up close and personal was even worse.

Luna much rather would have been able to administer pain potion, or some white willow bark tea to at least take the edge off his discomfort.

For all her memory, she had only been in this glass bubble village for eight days. Naturally she distinctly remembered the Dark Mark appearing in the sky, but for her, it was the night before. Time had lapses without her knowledge and as of then, she still did not know that she had been gone more than a few minutes at all.

It was with dully shining eyes that she watched as Dean rolled slightly towards her, recognizing that he was not moving towards her as much as away from the red haired man who was fixing his arm. Still, Luna moved her hand from brushing her fingers over his jaw to rubbing gently over his shoulder, just to let him know that she was there. Whether or not he acknowledged or even consciously realized it, it did not matter to her, just that she knew that being comforted in pain at least gave you some tether to hold onto besides the pain. Even if it was all unconscious. Luna remembered holding onto Neville's hand when Madame Pomfrey had been fixing the scars in the skin of her back, all those years ago.

Sympathy and gratitude rose to a high level for Dean's current condition, even as she looked up at the other man's question. "Luna. My name is Luna Lovegood."

Taking slow, deep breaths, Dean brought himself back under control. His breath still rasped as he lay on his side but the pain was subsiding into an easier to manage throbbing. As soon as he caught his breath and the pain had lessened enough, Dean struggled to pull himself up to a sitting position without the use of his hands or arms. He gritted his teeth as his ribs protested but at least he wasn't writing on the ground anymore.

After a beat, Dean nodded to the red-eyed man. "Yeah, I think I can walk," he said quietly. His ears still felt a bit fuzzy but he could hear much better than before and his mind was a lot more focused now that he was in less pain. It was still an effort to breathe but he was grateful he wasn't more hurt and that Luna appeared to be completely unhurt. He'd done his job.

The difficult part was going to be getting to his feet but he was sure the other dude already had a plan on that. As long as he didn't have to move too quickly though, Dean was sure he could stand. Probably even walk to the damn gym by himself and let old red-eyes take Luna to safety with Sam. As always, Sam was the only one he truly trusted to keep people safe or understand how to deal with this fucking place.

"Thanks, man," he said, looking up at the other guy. "I owe you one. Or a few. I'm sure Lexie can patch me up just fine. So long as she's okay." He hoped to hell that nothing had happened to Lexie. Suddenly he wanted to be on the way to the gym now to make sure she was okay. "I'm ready for the rest of the treatment," he said.

"Bien. Hol' still. 'Dis gon' hur', but not as bad as 'de o'ters." The Cajun gave the older man a nod, before he was picking up those sticks again and setting them (four each, two on top and two on the botton) over Dean's closest hand, forcing his fingers to stretch out as he did, then he began wrapping above the wrist, with the strips of the shirt. Tight enough, once again, to be uncomfortable. And he'd get all the way down to the meaty part of his hand before pausing briefly, to straighten his fingers again and put them close together, keeping his thumb tucked to the side, not beneath the hand, and began wrapping again. Nice and tight. When he was finally done, his hand would look much like a t-shirt mitten, wrapped up like that, with no digits, not even a thumb.

After giving poor Dean a moment to rest, the Cajun started on that opposite hand, and he would wrap the last strip of the other man's shirt around, until he got to the meaty part of the hand, and he realized that he'd run out of material. "Vous savez. Rien ne va jamais ma voie. Qu'est-ce qui est avec cela? Si ce gars était plus gros, il aurait eu assez de blouse. Mais non. Il devrait mettre un poids pour la fois suivante que cela arrive. Mon Dieu." Gambit liked to complain while he was doing nice things. It made him seem less.. well.. nice. He wasn't a hero! Get it straight.

So he was tugging a strip of material out of his pocket, he'd managed to find it and collected it up, so he could use it as a weapon later on.. but here he was, sacrificing it. That was really why he was complaining. The extra fabric was carefully wrapped around the other hand in the same manner, and once it was done, Gambit was lifting off his knees and into a crouching position. "Time to stan'." He announced smoothly, then lifted up enough to be able to move one leg out over both of Dean's, so he was crouching over his lap. He'd noticed that he was having a bit of trouble breathing, so he didn't want to grab around his chest, and this was the easiest way on him, with his own bad shoulder. Both hands caught Dean under the arms and on the count of three, he was standing slowly and leaning back, moving his feet back as they stood, until they were both up, and face to face.

That was when the Cajun broke into a smile again. "You owe me." He agreed easily and with a nod. But after a few seconds, his eyebrows slowly went up. "Deer, really? You go' run over by deer?" For some reason.. that was amusing for him.

[*Translation: You know. Nothing ever goes my way. What's with that? If this guy were fatter, he would have had enough shirt. But no. He should put on some weight for the next time this happens. My God.]

Withdrawing her hand from Dean's shoulder, she did give one last attempt to help him stand, if only with a gentle touch at his back. Physical strength was certainly not an area she excelled in, but she understood that everyone had different benefits and drawbacks to bring to a group.

Without further acknowledgment, she took a step back and simply waited to be of some use. The uninjured of her two hands nervously summoned a golden bubble, but kept in her palm, while her expression was its normally dreamy setting. Or, at least, the closest proximity to it that was possible under the circumstances.

Looking around them, Luna once again noticed something that had caught her attention briefly before. "Where's the snow?" Certainly there had been snow on the ground before she woke up in the woods, and now it was warm and absolutely no snow in sight. It was so odd.

"Ain' no snow when I get here, Petite." The Cajun assured her with a flash of a smile, charming as he could manage, which.. well.. was pretty charming, to say the least. And he'd walk with the two, slowly and carefully, avoiding the felled trees, the cracks in the floor of the forest, and the random lips littered about the ground. It would take them a few minutes to get to the edge of the forest, thankfully the two hadn't been too far in. Not like he and the Doctor, earlier today. And once they could set their feet on the pavement and see the gym, the Cajun was making a sweeping motion towards the large structure.

"An' I'm sure 'de two of you can make it to 'de buil'in' on your own, non? Been 'dere once alrea'y to'ay, ain' got no wan' to go back." That was an understatement. He definitely didn't want to go back. Lest he be hauled in and asked to help. However, without really waiting for a response, the red-head, red-eyed American was backing away and lifting a partially gloved hand in a wave. He knew they could make it safely on their own, it was only a hundred feet off. They'd be fine.

"Don' get run over 'gain, Dean." A warning to the wise, that came with a bit of a breathy laugh and a point, before Gambit was turning and heading away from the pair, back around the bed and towards that Post Office. That was where he wanted to be.

Dean & Luna & Remy

Dean picked his way carefully through the woods alongside the other two. He was so focused on making it without tripping and falling onto his broken bones that he wasn't much for conversation. He winced as his arms flew out to his side to balance himself but at this point, now that Remy had stopped popping and snapping everything back into place, the pain was a dull aching throb. It was only with a small amount of difficulty that he could push most of it out of his mind.

When they were within sight of the gym and Remy was taking his leave, Dean was slightly surprised. If he'd been in the other guy's shoes he would have made sure the people he'd helped out made it all the way in to safety. Though he supposed, he didn't need to be babysat into the gym by another guy. He could certainly do it himself.

"Thanks, man," he said when Remy warned him not to get run over again. He was grateful to the guy for helping because he knew Luna could not have prepped him enough to get out of the forest and to the gym by herself. So he controlled his voice as he answered so that it sounded a lot more amused and thankful than he actually felt in response to the warning itself. Like he'd gotten run over because he was careless.

As the red-eyed man walked away, Dean turned his eyes to Luna. "Looks like half the building collapsed. You ready for this?" he asked with concern. He had no idea how squeamish she was and there would probably be people in there with worse injuries than his own.

Wandering beside the two men who towered over her, Luna more or less was in her own world, no reason had come to call her out of it. Which was fine, lost in her own complicated thoughts that sometimes scrambled in so many directions at once that she could not follow each along their path to an end without seeing another thought that was just as fascinating, it was how she lived a good deal of the time. Early on she had learned, when none else spoke to her, she could at least learn and think on her own.

The red haired stranger still had not given his name, a fact not left unnoticed by Luna. Still, she saw no particular want to call him back and ask him for it. Perhaps he was in hiding from his name, or it had become a Taboo word that would fling down his enemies upon him in an instant. Which was, from what Luna had heard, not completely out of the realm of possibilities.

Pulled out of her thoughts of where exactly to search for a supposedly mythical beast (a line of thought so well worn in its path that it was more of a comfort than an actual question) but Dean's comment to her, she looked up at him. A glance over to the gym showed its disastrous condition, but part of her had expected nothing less after the bits of damage she had seen here and there while searching for help. Before she had come upon...what's his name. With her eyes back on Dean, she gave him a single nod, "I am."

They had to see about the others, as well as being sure that Dean was seen to by a Healer. Luna need to know what happened to Andy. To Sam and Tonks, to Logan and the others. Perhaps there was a way she could help somehow, even if she was not sure what it was.
