Day Two-Mid morning
Who: Sarah Vida, L (not putting his name Lexi 'cause I don't know how you're gonna play it), and Shizuka Domeki
What: Arrival
When: around 10ish
Where: In the woods
Rating: PG-13 to be safe
Status: Active

The darkness consumed Sarah. Flashes of scenes were forced before her eyes. Memories. His memories; she could tell almost instantly. Memories of the South, of hunting with Nikolas, blood bonding and fights. Gradually the memories turned more recent. She saw herself through his eyes.
As the rough taste of rust slowed in her throat she felt a sharp pain in her chest. A lunge and the sudden stop. Silence took over where the darkness left off. She forced her eyes open and looked at Kristopher. She didn't hate him. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't. Slowly she drifted back into unconciousness. So this is what death felt like...

Sarah felt the cold, damp ground before she awoke. Opening her eyes she saw the sun shine through the trees. Stiffly she pulled herself into a sitting position. The night's events came flooding back into her memory. She placed her hand on her chest, over the area her heart was supposed to be. Nothing. She felt nothing anymore. Just cold silence. Looking down at herself she realized she was still wearing the same clothes she wore when she went to Nikolas' house. Black tank, black shorts and her long leather coat. It had to have been just last night that she was changed. But how did she get to the woods? Perhaps Kristopher took her hunting and she didn't remember. No...he was back to feeding on humans. He wouldn't have been so kind. She glanced around noticed the other two boys with her. For a moment she became worried that she had killed them. That Kristopher did take her out hunting. However when she noticed one of them grunt in their sleep she relaxed a bit more. They were alive. That was good. At least she knew she wasn't a killer...yet.

This last idea suddenly made her a little nervous. If it was only last night that she was changed...and she had no recollection of feeding...that meant that she was not only new but also a starved vampire. Oh no... she worried. She didn't want to hurt either of them. But a piece of her was still human...a witch...Hopefully she could let that be enough to hold her back until she found some sort of animal to feed on.

But it still didn't explain the two boys and the woods. And she couldn't sense or smell Kristopher, Nikolas, or even Kaleo anywhere. Something wasn't right. She decided waking up the two boys for questioning was probably the best way to go at the moment. As a reflex, Sarah went for the knife at her back to defend herself if the situation called for it. But...nothing. Her knife was...gone? A Vida witch without their knives was like a fish out of water. It just didn't work. A fish cannot survive without water much like a Vida cannot survive without their knives. Frightened she began to check her boots...nothing. No...no,no,no,no! Sarah thought over and over to herself as she checked all of her hiding places. Nothing. No knives. She was worried. Those knives were wired to her magic. She couldn't understnad what she was going to do without them.

Perhaps one of them stole them? She wondered. Standing up she called to them, "What happened?!" she couldn't think of anything better to yell at them to wake up. If either of them somehow managed to drag her from Nikolas' house and steal her knives she didn't care what it took, she was going to get answers as well as her knives returned to her.

L's initial reaction was out of his control. He needed to feel like things were logical and like they made sense, and though changes were inevitable in the line of work he was in, any unnecessary ones were jarring to him. He watched the girl, staying on his guard, but his eyes never flickered above her jawline. L didn't do eye contact. Especially not with strangers. He couldn't for the life of him understand why his voice, a soft, clipped monotone, could be construed as headache inducing.

It was ironic, that L's heartbeat was so fast. Considering it should have ground to a halt by now, it was extremely impressive.

"Not light..." he said, frowning, wrapping his arms around his curled knees. "Light. A man. Not an electromagnetic spectrum." He glanced past the girl the the boy, younger than him, who seemed to know what Shinigami were. He tilted his head to the side, immediately skeptical of his lightning-fast deduction that they were dead or that something had "drawn them" here. It seemed farfetched, especially without proof of any kind to go on. "Where is your evidence?" He asked cynically. "I think that the female's guess is more likely, that this is somewhere on Earth. The chances that any other planet would have the elements and atmosphere necessary to support carbon-based life forms is extremely slim. Not that a supernatural force can be entirely ruled out... I have seen such things with my own eyes, and so, apparently, have you." He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I am from Earth. Like you both, I'm sure."

The admonishment to calm down was easy enough for Domeki to follow; it took only a few deep draws of breath to calm his heart to its normal rate and he allowed his features to relax into a mask of quiet calm as he pulled himself to his feet. Arms crossed loosely over his chest, he began to slowly pace the perimeter of the small clearing in which they had found themselves but there was still nothing which jumped out at him as odd or different enough to act as a clue as to what had happened.

"No evidence. Just a baseless guess," Domeki responded without glancing back at the other male. "I did nothing to come here and I can guess that neither did you nor the girl. That makes it seem that we were either kidnapped or drawn here by something other than ourselves even if we still are on the Earth." It was far from a calming thought, that they had been pulled by something to this unknown place, but Domeki kept his demeanor calm as he tried to find a logical path through their current problem.

"Something supernatural sounds like the best answer," Domeki moved his head in a short nod, but there was uncertainty underneath. He paused in his pacing and peered hard at his surroundings - but nothing unexpected was revealed. True, he wasn't a natural at always seeing the thin divide between the supernatural and the mundane but he should be able to sense it if they had somehow passed outside of the realm of the normal. "There's no way of knowing - not really. Though either of you might know better..."

"You're right," he paused in his pacing so that he could return his attention to the other two. "I'm from Earth, too."

A man's name was Light? Sarah was confused. It certainly was a different name. She shrugged it off. She didn't know anyone by that name.

The notice of their hearts slowing back to a normal pace was a great relief to Sarah. She ran a hand through her hair and breathed in deep, though she technically didn't need to breath the habit was difficult to get rid of. Luckily her stomach stopped churning the way it was before and she was able to make the hunger subside until she was alone. She was starting to think she was a little too hasty in waking them up.

As the conversation turned back to Shinigami she realized that they were talking about supernatural things. A shiver went down her spine as she began recalling everything that had happened so far. She didn't want to think of the idea of kidnaping. Though the two in front of her seemed to be taking the situation at hand a lot more calmer than she was feeling inside.

When they both said that they were on Earth the annoyance kicked in again. "I thought it'd be obvious we'd be on Earth. Where else would we be from? I meant where you last came from. If we were kidnapped I was trying to see if we had anything in common with one another. I was last in Acton, Massachusetts." she offered as an example to what she had truly meant. These two were certainly the most confusing humans she had ever met.

After offering where she was from her brain recalled when the boy on her right called her 'the female.' It didnt't click in at first because she had been thinking of them as 'boy on right' 'boy on left'. "I should probably introduce myself while we're at it. I'm Sarah Vida."
