Day Eight Morning
Who: clone!Doctor, Shannon Rutherford
What: morale boost for Shannon
Where: in the museum
When: Day 8, morning
Rating: PG
Status: Complete

The fake Doctor walked through a corridor of the museum, a smile playing on his face. He wasn't in a hurry to go anywhere and he was rather enjoying the sensation of walking around. Pausing by a window he studied his reflected face - incidentally noting that the snow outside the building had started to melt - and grinned at his own reflection.
This would be... interesting.

He had memories in his head. He knew everything that the Doctor knew, and at the same time he also knew that he wasn't the real Doctor. It was a strange sensation, akin to realizing that you're in a dream while still asleep. And, just like in these situations, he felt that he could do anything.
He didn't have any plans yet, but it would be amusing to see how other people would react to him. Possibly they wouldn't realize that he wasn't the real Doctor, eventually, but the real fun would be watching them while they came to that conclusion.

So, if that was today's objective, he would have to find someone who knew the real Doctor. No point in going out of the Museum, where other people wouldn't recognize him at all. Of course what he really wanted to avoid was meeting the real Doctor, because while being probably very amusing it would also almost certainly mean the end of his little game. And from his point of view he had everything to gain by keeping up this facade.

The memories in his head were a bit fuzzy, and he couldn't get a grip on the details. He knew that some people, including him, usually slept in this building, however he couldn't remember where exactly. He was about to call out for someone when he realized that this would mean giving away his game too early, or at least making them suspicious from the beginning.
He kept walking, trying to head towards where he vaguely remembered the entrance to be. After all, he was in no hurry and he was bound to meet someone sooner or later.

The fake Doctor shrugged nonchalantly. "Who cares about what happened yesterday," he said. "Here and now is what's important."

He watched Shannon curiously while she ate. "I'm fine," he replied. Actually he felt better than ever. The question about girl on girl violence caught him by surprise.
"I might have skipped that accidentally," he conceded. "What happened?"
He didn't remember the Doctor reading the journal, but then again that was a detail, easily lost in the sea of the other memories. And considering the kind of life led by the Doctor, it wasn't so surprising that he couldn't be able to remember something like that.

The Doctor grinned back at Shannon. "Don't worry," he said, opening the bar and taking a mouthful. "I'll get something to drink later," he added, talking while he munched it down.
He leaned forward, seized by a sudden idea. "So, got any plans for today?" he asked with a hopeful tone in his voice. "The snow is melting."
