Day Eight Morning
Who: clone!Doctor, Shannon Rutherford
What: morale boost for Shannon
Where: in the museum
When: Day 8, morning
Rating: PG
Status: Complete

The fake Doctor walked through a corridor of the museum, a smile playing on his face. He wasn't in a hurry to go anywhere and he was rather enjoying the sensation of walking around. Pausing by a window he studied his reflected face - incidentally noting that the snow outside the building had started to melt - and grinned at his own reflection.
This would be... interesting.

He had memories in his head. He knew everything that the Doctor knew, and at the same time he also knew that he wasn't the real Doctor. It was a strange sensation, akin to realizing that you're in a dream while still asleep. And, just like in these situations, he felt that he could do anything.
He didn't have any plans yet, but it would be amusing to see how other people would react to him. Possibly they wouldn't realize that he wasn't the real Doctor, eventually, but the real fun would be watching them while they came to that conclusion.

So, if that was today's objective, he would have to find someone who knew the real Doctor. No point in going out of the Museum, where other people wouldn't recognize him at all. Of course what he really wanted to avoid was meeting the real Doctor, because while being probably very amusing it would also almost certainly mean the end of his little game. And from his point of view he had everything to gain by keeping up this facade.

The memories in his head were a bit fuzzy, and he couldn't get a grip on the details. He knew that some people, including him, usually slept in this building, however he couldn't remember where exactly. He was about to call out for someone when he realized that this would mean giving away his game too early, or at least making them suspicious from the beginning.
He kept walking, trying to head towards where he vaguely remembered the entrance to be. After all, he was in no hurry and he was bound to meet someone sooner or later.

The fake Doctor grinned when he heard Shannon's voice. About time that he met someone. So far so good, but the fun started now. He had to resist the urge to rub his hands with glee while he turned around.
"Morning, Shannon," he replied with the Doctor's voice.

He stopped behind her and craned his head to look inside the bag she was rummaging into. It simply contained her inhalers and food, just like he expected. But... in this place... you could never be too sure. If Shannon knew, she wouldn't be quietly sitting on the floor like that.

He accepted the bar with another smile and sat down in front of her with his legs crossed. "Thank you," he said, turning the bar over in his hands. "I really can't recall the last time I hate."
Obviously he knew the Doctor's personality better than anyone else including the original, but it was too much of a hassle to make sure that his actions were just what the real one would have done in the situation. Besides, if he did that, there would be no point to him even existing.
"How are you?" he asked, the SlimFast bar still unopened in his hands.
