The sun was setting and that made the cold that much sharper.  By this point, Ianto's lips were starting to turn blue, but at least he found a landmark that Jack knew.  While he wanted, Ianto tormented himself with visions of blankets and mugs of hot tea, both of which he was certain he wasn't about to get.  It was nice to dream, though.

Ianto stood in the doorway of the building, peering out into the snow, simply waiting, with his arms wrapped round himself and his worries clear on his face.  This .. really wasn't a holiday.  And he wasn't a Rift victim.  He was a rat dumped in a cage for an experiment.  Which was so much worse, despite the fact that the Rift could have tossed him anywhere and anywhen.  But it was random.  This ... this wasn't random.  This was someone planning something and taking him specifically.  Not a good thought to be having.

Ianto stamped his feet a bit, trying to return circulation and tried to just ignore all the unknown worries swarming round in his brain.

It was better to stick together, at least until he knew what this place was about. So many days here (though not as many as some) and the place was still a complete unknown to him. Outside of knowing the Weevils were about and there were, apparently, strange experiments (though Jack had yet to be subjected to anything like that)-- he didn't know anything about the place.

And it frustrated the hell out of him.

"Not as much fun," Jack replied with a soft chuckle. "And, really, playing the jealous lover would take up all your time, leaving none for, say, brewing coffee." Jack closed his eyes at the soft kiss, sighing contently.

"Not... exactly the best situation I've found myself in." Jack paused, fitting his hand beneath Ianto's chin. He rubbed his thumb against the other man's lower lip, trying to smile but not managing it. It had always been easier to drop his guard around Ianto. He dropped his forehead against Ianto's, hand still cupping his jaw. "It's not good," he finally confessed.

"We've been in worse," he assured Jack quietly, lips moving against Jack's thumb. They'll eventually figure this out and eventually get home. The fact that it wasn't a Rift accident made him feel a lot better, for all that they were in a giant glass cage. His views on that might change in the coming days, but right now, that's what he was holding on to.

Well, that and Jack. Ianto's head tipped a bit so he could give Jack a proper kiss, since they both needed the distraction at this point. That and in a few minutes, Ianto was certain that he'd be yawning to hard to do something like that.
