Who: Tonks and Rose
Where: Oak Grove
When: Day One, 11-ish AM
What: Reunited!
Rating: PG-ish
After having made her way out of the forest, Tonks had been surprised to find herself in a neighbourhood. And also surprised to find it not as ramshackle as the place had been before. She stared at everything with a healthy mixture of curiosity and wariness. What the hell did the Management have planned this time? And they realised that she had other pressing matters back at home, didn't they? Ugh. Of course they did.
Tonks frowned then. She hadn't actually lost any time between the first time around here and her own world. The witch felt that, between the two worlds, actual relaxation was a long-distant memory. All the same, good things came out of even the shittiest of situations. Friends, for one. The Order, who were her family. The people she had met here.
The people she met! Duh, Nymphadora. With that thought, she had pulled out the journal and got to scribbling. Sure enough..there were names -- handwriting-- that she recognised. And one of them was around in one of these houses! Rose Tyler was here as well. She was torn between being happy that there were familiar people (who remembered her as well) and upset that they were here. Nobody should have to go through this.
After a few notes back and forth, Tonks peeked around the area again. For some odd reason, the first thing that popped into Tonks' head was that Peaches and Herb song. "Reunited and it feels so good.." Sang a bit to herself. Then she looked at her feet (after having gotten up and stumbled a little in the process) and took a breath.
"C'mon, feet. Let's find Rose Tyler." Brief bob of her head given in a nod and she took off down the street. It took a bit, quite frankly, but soon she came upon a house where she thought she saw someone. Time had made her a little more leary, and the fact that she was sans wand (again) made her more so, explaining why she stared from a distance for a moment. But after that momentary study, she smiled to herself and headed up the path. "You! You are a sight for sore eyes!"
