Rose didn't intend on straying too far from the house she'd found herself in. Before, she'd slept on the floor of a museum squished in with the Doctor and a teenaged werewolf. Not long after that, she'd slept, again on the floor, of a gymnasium, with people who were mostly strangers. If Brigette wanted to go off exploring, fine with her, but Rose was keeping the house until she was moved.
So when Tonks had said she was, quite literally, in the neighborhood, she stepped outside and only sat on the front porch. She knew these people too well to know they wouldn't do whatever it took to survive. And she'd do the same. Including keeping hold of her relatively comfortable, if not exactly clean, shelter.
But then the white haired witch (she remembered her friend was a witch...oh yeah, things were coming back in a somewhat insane rush) appeared, and Rose figured a few steps wouldn't hurt. "Princess wizard Dora," she teased, then rushed up the path to meet Tonks in a tight hug. "Oh, I shouldn't be happy to see you, but I am."
