Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:!shelved, day 21, elliot reid, location: gas station, npc, ted logan

Who: Zombified!Silent Bob.
What: Do you want fries with your brains?
Where: The Not Quick Stop.
When: Day 21; noon.
Rating: Rated Z (for Zany Zombies eat Zucchinis).
Status: Active.

Perhaps that quiet mumbling rumbling from the pudgy man's throat were the profanities that so characterized the Silent One. He walked with a limp, a piece of metal protruding grotesquely from his left knee. His shirt was bloody and if his beard was trimmed or not, it is unclear because part of his jaw is missing. The skin left that made up his lips was rotting and he is a poor shell of a stoned man.

Perhaps there was a still a part left of Bob in the zombie.

"Guuuhaaah!!"

Oh wait. Nope. Not the Silent One.

If this really was some bad zombie flick come to life the last place Elliot wanted to be was locked up in a van right smack next to a graveyard. After dropping Andy a note she'd decided the best place for her to head was towards the gas station where she knew there was food and according to the journals guys with weapons.

Her nerves were stretched to their breaking point as she drove Andy's van through the darkness. The sun should've been up hours ago, the fact that it wasn't made her wonder if this was really going to be the end of all of it. If there were zombies, and despite her percautions she hoped there weren't, how long could they hold out against them especially if the powers that be were giving them a head start in the dark?

She pulled up to the gas station, her headlights sweeping the front and stopped in front of two figures in the darkness. One of them was a young man holding a bat and the other....

"Oh my God," Elliot breathed as she made out the form of the living dead. "Oh my God!" In shock, her hand slipped from the steering wheel and onto the horn. The resulting sound caused her to jump and then panic. Not knowing what to do Elliot did the only thing she could think of. She hit the gas.

Unfortunately for Bob, the Ted-speak was a little hard for his zombified brain to fully comprehend let alone translate. The zombie could comprehend the distinct smell of life hanging in the air, could practically taste the blood. He moved as steadily as he could towards the teenager, mumbling and groaning excitedly at the idea of brains.

Oh. Lady Luck was just not smiling on the poor undead today, was she?

The zombie whirled on the noise of the horn, the rotting skin attaching the remaining parts of his jaw loosening and ripping. He raised his left hand, free of skin towards the van, towards the bright light. You didn't walk towards the light the first time, Bob, don't do it this time!
