Devastation, Obliteration, Are All In a Part of Exacerbation
Who: Dr. Gregory House and OTA
What: Shambling, undead horror
Where: The proximity of the post office
When: 11:00 A.M.
Rating: PG-13 to start, for vivid descriptions of moderate decomposition. :D Yaaay!

The darkness was so complete that, from a distance, one couldn't possibly have told Gregory House from any other resident of Vas Captio. His odd shuffle might have been at first mistaken for the signature limp he'd sported in life, but in truth, no matter how drunk off his ass or high as a kite he'd been, he'd never staggered quite like this before. Even when he tripped or bumped into something, he managed to keep shambling steadily forward, groaning occasionally and reaching forward with grasping, waxy fingers.

Greg House was dead. His death was not due to incompetence or a desire to end his life, but rather a flippant carelessness that had finally caught up to him. A drug overdose had stopped his heart, and now, his only purpose was to turn the hippocratic oath on its head. Do harm. Take lives and thrill in the way warm brains heated his frigid, stagnant innards. It was the only pleasure that would reach him in undeath. It was all he wanted, and all that would do, and even in death, House craved instant gratification.

House did not respond to his name when Lexie called it softly, nor did he have one of his signature snarks to retort with when she teased him about his vicodin. Instead, her image, familiar to the doctor while alive, only called one sort of thing to him. Brains. Meat. Kill.

Tonks' cheerful greeting was likewise noted. The zombie that had formerly been a brilliant doctor started toward Lexie with a load groan, grasping for her coat, his cloudy blue eyes rolled back into his head.
