Entry tags:!complete, day 18, location: barn, nymphadora tonks, remy lebeau

Who: Tonks and Remy LeBeau
What: Tonks is rummaging for food and checking out an area for various things
Where: The Barn
When: Around 530pm, Day 18
Rating: PG
Status: Complete

Tonks had a list of things that she needed to do. In spite of her seeming absentmindedness, she liked to make mental to-do lists in order to keep things prioritised. The first thing, after having finished the survey, was turning it in. Then she was trying to figure out why there was a pink plastic watch on her left wrist, with a little plastic guard to keep it from being scratched. She wondered if the time that it said was really the same time. But couldn't find answers to those questions. And now? Now there were three important things to tick off, one after the other.

Number One? Eat. She hadn't eaten all day, and knew that she ought to. Though it was numero uno on her list, Tonks actually was taking the scenic route toward the gas station. The very scenic route. Item Number Two was to find a secluded place for Remus (because she didn't know that Rose and someone else was, or had been, doing the same thing) and Item Number Three? Use that same secluded space right now as her personal practice field. She had found some twine and wrapped Luna's old wand back together. But a broken (even if mended) wand was dangerous. And if she was going to practice a few hexes, then Tonks wanted a place where no one else would be.

It was why she paused at the barn and studied it so carefully. There had been someone in there earlier. Remy LeBeau, with the fun accent. But he had been one of those who disappeared. Maybe he hadn't made it back yet. Maybe he wouldn't. So, with that thought, the witch checked in the back pocket of her jeans..to assure that both her journal and the broken wand were there..and headed toward the barn. She intended on looking inside to see if there was any hint of anyone coming back.

"Non." He lied easily, right to her face and with a smile. Okay, maybe it wasn't a total lie.. because it'd have to be a pretty sweet deal to get him to betray the Doctor's trust. But the way it was looking, the Doctor didn't much trust him anymore, anyway. And Remy was honestly a bit bitter about that, and he might take a chance to get back at the Time Lord.

But it wasn't likely. The Doctor would have to do something really horrible to him to get that sort of reaction, and he just hadn't yet.

"Jus' gonna talk, maybe have lunch.. tea." He flashed her another grin, before shaking his head and lifting his wrist, wiggling the watch around a little. "Non. Maybe, if I broke m' arm off an' pulled, oui. Bu' ain' 'dat despera'e t' have i' off. Kin'a nice knowin' wha' time i' is."

She had no clue of that, but neither expected him to answer truthfully if he would. So while Tonks had no reason to believe that Remy was lying, she also wouldn't be that surprised if he was. A little hurt, maybe. But that was just how she was.

"Oh tea..I'd murder for a cup." Maybe not that extreme, but the English witch sure could use some. She was chuckling though, at the idea of having tea with the enemy. "If you have lunch, spit in their sandwich for me." She was young still, and her bouts of spite came out in mischievous ways. She showed her wrist, with the pink plastic that was..really..quite Tonks-like. She might have even picked it out in another time and another place.

"I'm not a fan, normally. But when you ain't got one in a general sense it is kinda nice!" She was just wary as to why they had gotten such a gift. If one could call it that.

"Why d'you hang round here all on your own?" Out of the blue.
