Snowglobe Vallo Network Post: Eloise Bridgerton [001]
Where am I? What is this place? How is - I don't understand what's going on here or - Relax, Eloise, take a deep breath, you're fine, you're alive, you're just - dreaming or inside of some fanciful novel or something else entirely.

Yes, tea would be lovely, thank you Mister ... ?

Doctor Morgan Yu. And if I remember my Jane Austen rules right, your older sister isn't married, so she's Miss Bridgerton and you're Miss Eloise? It will be a pleasure to meet you in person.

Doctor Yu then, thank you.

Oh! But no, my sister is married. She's the Duchess of Hastings, so I'm to be Miss Bridgerton now.

How does one talk about something that has happened in my memory but my sister it seems has not experienced it yet?

Well, when that happened in my home world, my brother tried to explain things to me a piece at a time, and show me what proof he could of what he was telling me. I'd missed some pretty outlandish events, so it might be a little easier for you here. Does your sister seem like the same person she was when you saw her at home? As far as her personality, I mean.

Oh yes, she seems the same. She just seems to last remember something from weeks ago, not what I remember from, well, last night, I suppose. But if she only remembers up until that point, then she wouldn't know what happens after that, yes? Without my telling her, I mean.

Probably not, unless there are other clues lying around that could tell her. If she was just plucked up from a little further up the timeline than you were, rather than it being a case of amnesia, it seems unlikely she'd just get the information spontaneously.

Right, well, I suppose I can ask her if she wants to know, or otherwise simply not tell her. If it were me, I'd want to know though, of course.

So would I, but I'm a person of dangerously limitless curiosity.

I am as well, though I wouldn't have described it that way before. I will now. I like how that sounds.

Have you gotten the important life lesson to the curious of "some answers aren't worth the cost of getting them" yet? Or have you avoided having it bite you good and hard yet?

Oh, a little of both, I suppose. At least, I know what you're talking about.

I suspect we'll get along well, Miss Eloise.

I hope so, Dr. Yu.
