As nice as running water and the ability to go to the store and buy necessities is, I kind of miss the whole constant danger and living moment to moment that comes from life after the vampire apocalypse.

Yeah. They made their move, used pollution to block the sun, so they could move around in the daylight. They either killed, turned, or captured people, and it all happened so fast that by the time the dust settled there wasn't a lot of people left who weren't under the control of vampires.

A lot of people I cared about were killed. Needlessly.
