That seemed to be the general sense I was getting from Eliot as well. How's Ted settling in?

I'm doing okay. Got bit of an unexpected surprise from home last month that I'm trying to deal with.

He's doing good. Really good. I mean, he misses Arielle, but there's not much we can do about that unless she shows up. He's happy that Eliot and I are here and he's fascinated by everything. He's so smart and it's definitely a task to keep him out of trouble, but he's great. He's really great.

You should get to know him. I think he'd like you.

How old is he? I tried to child proof everything in my apartment, but have no real idea if it was necessary or not.

I'd be open to that so long as you guys tell me exactly what to do. I haven't been around kids much since I was a kid myself.

I'm hoping it will be. Can't say for sure yet.

Three. He's pretty good at getting into things, but he does listen if you tell him not to do something. He's just so smart. And I know parents always say their kid is smart but he really is.

You'll be fine. The main thing is just stay calm. And you're great at that.

Do you need to talk about it?

I'm clearly biased because I think he's likely to be that smart too.

Probably, but I'm not ready to yet because I have no idea where it's going yet. But I'll come find you when I'm ready to.

Cool. I'm glad. That means a lot.

Sort of. I think younger kids are just really in tune with the emotional state of people around them and respond to that. So being calm helps keep them calm.

That's fair. I'm always around if you need it. You're a really good guy.

I know some of the story. There wasn't a lot of it that I was privy to considering I was at Filmore Graves at he time but I know she had something. She was sick.

Freylich Syndrome. Because she had this, she produced an excessive amount of glycoproteins which made her immune to the zombie virus.

Eating her brain is the cure. Her brain was the blue brain that Nyx posted about showing up. I have it now.
