A reminder to any magic practitioners who are looking to start learning about the magic of Vallo (at least what's available) or don't have a safe place to practice on their own here yet. I have space at the back of Uncommon Goods that is always available to other Outlanders if needed.

It comes with tea and snacks because I'm never anywhere without snacks at this point.

Fair enough. I imagine you've had some in your shop even if they weren't obviously Fae.

I'm sure I've had many, yeah. I try not to ask questions unless the customer initiated it or they're asking all the Red Flag questions.

That's considerate. The witches at home worked pretty closely with Fae and had to be careful of certain herbs that reacted badly with certain species. I imagine if the Fae here have the same issues, they're keeping a watchful eye on your ingredients before making any purchases.

It's the same with Vampires and Werewolves in my world. There are herbs that protect against them. I keep all my herbs very clearly labelled for that reason.

I'm glad to hear it. There was a witch at home I used to go to for protection and cloaking bags to put in the walls at home, but they need to be made without any larkspur or monkshood. Is that something you can do?

Protection and cloaking are both in my skillset. But I don't typically use any bags for it. I could always tie the spell to an object of needed, but herbs aren't involved.

Hm. Alright. An object would work. Two, preferably.

Protection or cloaking? Or both?

Both yeah. Protection's more important though.

Can I ask for a few more specifics? Cloaking a building and protecting a person?

Course. I was looking for general protection of a house. But if it needs to be specific then a person is fine, assuming the item can be worn by a toddler. Cloaking from specific Fae would be preferred, but since that seems unlikely here, maybe just cloaking from anyone searching with harmful intent? Is that too broad? If so, that's less important. We haven't exactly been secretive about where we're staying anyway, but it would be good if we could carry it along in an emergency.

I can do a house too, I'm just used to doing protection spells for people. Protection and cloaking for a house it is. I'll get that done tomorrow.

Thank you. That's even faster than I hoped.
