A reminder to any magic practitioners who are looking to start learning about the magic of Vallo (at least what's available) or don't have a safe place to practice on their own here yet. I have space at the back of Uncommon Goods that is always available to other Outlanders if needed.

It comes with tea and snacks because I'm never anywhere without snacks at this point.

Not uncommon, but keep mostly to themselves and out of politics.

Just a place to keep sound from traveling to others? My mother used to take me out in a large empty field where the most harm I could do was scaring off some birds.

Politics is a messy place to put yourself, so it makes sense.

A silencing spell on the room I can do.

I certainly don't blame them, I've watched the royal court for years and seen how things go.

I'm still in the process of working out a job here, but following that, I'll be in contact to schedule times.

So you live in a world kind of like this one, where everything is out in the open?

I'll wait to hear from you. Where were you thinking of looking for a job?

Similar, but still vastly different. Nothing at all like the city, more of the forest life.

That's been more of the struggle. I'm not in a position where I trust many people to take care of Tris and I can't ask Porthos, so the more fighting positions are out for now. I've only looked a little into how hospitals and healing staff works here, I should do that.

I like the forest. But I'm also used to places big enough to offer overpriced coffee on demand.

I'm expecting my first babies myself, so I'm starting to understand that whole who do you trust to babysit problem. I'm lucky enough to have built up a small community here. I hope you're able to as well. Are you a healer?

I have appreciated that a number of times this week. And hot showers - glorious.

Oh! Congratulations! I am, trained in both the conventional ways, and my siren abilities have always leaned more towards pain relief and healing wounds than causing them.

I can't even imagine a life without hot showers. I'd probably lose it.

Thank you! Interesting. You're definitely nothing like the sirens back home then. One of the Doctors with the DOA is a friend of mine. But he's been so caught up in work I haven't heard much from him lately, so I don't know what their set up is like right now.

Sadly, you wouldn't know what you were missing out on. Now I can never go back. We're missi

I do like being a surprise. I'll ask about, though! See if he needs an extra pair of hands - or a clever mouth.

Wait until you experience heated car seats in the winter.

I hope you find something soon! Have you considered starting your own business?
