Setting the Scene

A couple of hours before the sun sets, Regina Mills and Neal Cassidy lead a team of five strike team volunteers into Stripe's Lair - which is inconveniently located in Castle Whitespire.

With a magical barrier set up by Thurvishar D'Lorus and Nyx Ulric, they have sealed off Castle Whitespire from the rest of Vallo, at least temporarily. Gremlin magic is strong though and has been breaking down wards left and right, so there might be some flickering of these wards. In case any gremlins from this stronghold do break through, Sara Lance and Takashi Shirogane have defense team members and other volunteers patrolling this barrier perimeter.

Upon the initial breach of the castle, they were faced with a small horde of gremlins. Caleb Widogast, in a stunning display of his transmutation gift, turned Dwight Hendrickson into a black and blue t-rex to take care of this horde. They were able to move forward from this the entrance hall.

However, just outside of the entrance hall and in the direction of the throne room, they came across another horde. Jake Pentecost used himself as a decoy to draw the gremlins away from the throne room, where they suspected Stripe to be hiding out. The rest of the team went to go provide Jake support and they had an epic battle off in the ballroom, while Regina and Neal broke off from the strike team go to the throne room.

During the epic ballroom battle, Harley Quinn seemed to abandon them when the gremlin numbers became crazy large. However, just as it seemed like they might be overwhelmed, she returned with a bazooka to cut the gremlin numbers in half.

Nyx Ulric used his lightning abilities to fry gremlins left and right and made a hero's play to save squishy mortal Caleb from serious injury, by throwing himself in front of him when a gremlin with a crossbow went a little shooter crazy. Thankfully, with his teleporting abilities, he managed to save the two of them from becoming human kebobs.

Meanwhile, in the throne room, Regina and Neal confronted Stripe and were able to contain him in the Amulet of the Mogwai once more.

After a long hour of fighting featuring fire magic, lightning, chopping off heads, and baseball bats, the strike team seemed to take down the gremlins that had been drawn into the fighting in the ballroom. When Regina and Neal found them later, it was with the news that they had trapped Stripe once more and that the rest of the gremlins hiding out would disappear.
