Um Hello. My name is Annie and I have been here a couple of days, but I honestly forgot that this device connected to this network after I used it to find Gale. I remembered now, though, so I thought I would say hello.

I also wanted to ask if anyone else who has been brought here also came with children? I ask because I can already tell that our oldest is getting a bit bored of only having grown ups and his younger sister for company. We will be setting him up with school as it seems we'll be here for a while, but he's nine and our daughter is two if anyone might have children close in age to arrange playdates of some kind? This has all been a big change for Cove especially as he's old enough to understand a bit better that this isn't normal, so [...] please let me know if it's something anyone might be interested in arranging.

Would you believe that I have two kids that are the same age?

What a coincidence that is! Are they named Cove and Lark, too?

Well, now that's even more of a coincidence because they do happen to be named Cove and Lark.

Wow. Quite the coincidence, indeed.

GALE
Would you want to go to that market with me and the kids?

We have a great deal in common, you and me.

ANNIE
I'm interested to know how similar the markets are here to what we have back home, so definitely yes. If we're planning on being here for awhile, it wouldn't hurt to find out what's available, right?

We should probably be friends.

GALE
I was thinking the same thing. I think it would be good to get the kids out, too.

We should probably spend all of our time together.

ANNIE
I think you're right. I'm really impressed with how well Cove is doing with this, though. God, he's such a good kid.

Let's do it.

GALE
He's a good boy. He deserves to get to meet some goats and chickens and cows.

Hi!! That is a very good job remembering. :)))))) SO I don't have any kids BUT I live on a farm! And we're open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a market! And we have goats and chickens and cows and sheep and a few other animals that hang out so guys should come by!! Which is maybe a little silly because maybe you have things like that where you're from BUT ours are so cute!!! And really really nice. :))))

Oh, really? That might be very nice. I think they would very much like to see some animals.

Yeah!! And I mean, we have really good stuff for sale too (I sometimes forget that part so I have to say it) like cheese and eggs and ice cream but really it's just a super nice place to be! :)))

Hello Annie, I'm Dom.

I wish I could be of help but my two won't be born until September sometime. I'd be happy to be good company though.

Oh goodness, two? That is very exciting for you. I'm sure that I could also use company, as much as my son, so I would appreciate that as well.

Yep, two. I found out a few days before I arrived here. You're right, it is very exciting and a little scary too

Anytime you'd like a cup of tea or a chat let me know!

Only about a week. I chose to try and look at it as an adventure and try to make the best of things. Even if I'm scared and lonely

I have a son, but he's quite young in human years. He should be a month old soon. I think. So he might be a bit young for your children. But honestly who knows how he'll age, so we'll see.

That would be a bit young, but they are very sweet when they are so little.

Yes. He is a wonderful child. He was fantastic at eleven, but he's quite well behaved as a baby too.

Oh, did he come at another age, like with the strange timelines? My children are the same age as I remember, but my sister-in-law is older.

Yes. That would well describe it. It's a little bit more complicated than that, but it really would be the best explanation of things.

There is a lot about life that can be complicated and this place seems to just make everything even more. That's okay, though. It seems we all have each other, right?

We do have that, my dear. And that is quite a lot if you think about it.

How are you settling in?

[info]creptup

It really is. It's a good thing to keep in mind.

Okay, so far, thank you for asking. It helps to have my family here. I would feel a lot differently if we'd been separated.

People too often forget that. But community is what keeps everyone going when things get tough. We have to help one another when we can.

Of course. And I feel quite the same way. I cannot imagine not having my husband here or our children.

You're right about that. I'm happy there are others that agree with that thinking.

I'm very glad that you have them as well, then.

I would not want to think about what it might be like here if people did not have that mindset. It might well dissolve into chaos.

And I am glad that you have yours.

But I'm being rude. I'm Aziraphale.

That does seem likely. Hopefully it never comes to that.

Hello, Aziraphale. That is a very nice name.

I have a two year old. We do park trips and things from time to time, but if you ever wanted to do something, I'm down. As well if you'd like to meet up and I can go over what school options there are just let me know.

I have a few I've talked to for this exact situation so I can go over what they're like with you. We do run a smaller scale one but it's mostly older kids. I can come by your place Wednesday afternoon? Or you're free to come here but I don't mind going to yours if it's easier with the kids.
