My sewing machine stopped working because it already had been going for 'eight hours' and it had 'rights'.

Do you know how hard it is to work on a wedding dress when you're doing it by hand?

I refuse to comment on the insanity that this place has become, by the way. I'm grateful for you letting me work at home. Grace won't leave the house.

I'd offer to help if that wouldn't make things worse.

When I was a kid and my mom would crochet, she'd have me hold out my arms and she'd wind the yarn around them to keep it... um.. Wait, I'm not really sure what that does. Maybe she was just trying to keep me in one place.
