This may be one of the more arcane questions asked here in some time, but I have to inquire. Has anyone here ever adopted a child? If so, what does it mean when they say your case needs "review"?

I'd panic, but they did grant me permission to foster Grace until the ruling comes down. So she gets to stay with me until they make a decision, which will either be wonderful or the second most heart-wrenching thing I've ever experienced.

I wondered. Would you like to come to dinner sometime soon? Just you and me. There's some (good) things I'd like to discuss.
