So. Good news and bad news.

The good news! Lily and baby boy Potter are doing well and everything is great. Except I swear to fucking God I will kill Bellatrix if I ever run into

The bad news is we have no idea about a name since we were absolutely not prepared, so we're taking suggestions. Thoughts?

Congratulations!

No ideas on names. Good luck with that.

Oh, well, you're no help then, big surprise.

Seriously, I'm at a loss. The doctor was a woman with a girly name, for pity's sake.

Apologies.

Steven? Jacob? Kenneth?

You could follow in the footsteps of decidedly dim-witted celebrities and call him something unusual, like Tree or Granite.

Stupid, boring, white-trashy.

And God, no. I think those kids should get to sue the second they turn 18.

Indeed.

Ah, perhaps instead of suggestions, I can give you a list of names to avoid?

Maybe we can write them all down and put them in a hat.

Give yourselves veto power, and that should be a solid plan. If you draw one that you absolutely abhor, you can always veto it. If you draw one and it sounds like a good fit, then it is.

First off, congratulations.

...Pick a relative or friend's name maybe?

Worst legal name I ever came across in a case was Loinsworth. Loinsworth. I am deadly serious about that. No wonder the guy became a career criminal. Think I'd have snapped too.

See, that's the thing. Names set it up for life.

This is a critical problem.

Definitely. I mean think about poor little Tallulah Does The Hula From Hawaii. That poor kid.

Lily had the baby? But I thought she wasn't due quite yet. Is everything alright?

Also, Congratulations.

No, she went into premature labor. It turned out all right, but...

... you've had some of the dreams, right?

No, I've yet to experience any of these dreams that the rest of you have. What does this have to do with Lily going into premature labor?

A woman who is a villain in the dreams decided on being one here too, that's all.

So, this woman caused Lily's early labor? Is there anything you can do about it?

I don't know yet. Trust me, Lils is very capable of handling herself too, but my God, I hate that woman.

I'm glad you agree. It's an old name, a name both associated with hard work and with ancient royalty.

Damn it, now I have a brother to help raise, make sure you don't turn him into a tacky tie wearer. Kidding though, glad to see you and mom are okay, and the kid.

We should name the kid Remus, give that name a bit of a redemption?

But then he'll grow up to be boring and wear ties that are only tasteful or something.

Remus, do you wear ties? I honestly can't remember.

But you don't know that.

We could actually make the name Remus cool or something, if we teach the kid not to wear tasteful ties and do... whatever it is Remus does.

I named my parakeet Mr. Spock! I think that's a good name!
