I need a holiday. I love my kids, but I just need a holiday. Teenagers.

I had a dream last night that I stowed away in this.. spaceship, although I had thought it was something else at the time. It belonged to this funny old man with white curly hair and a velvet coat. Oh and there was a talking baked potato.

Talking. Baked. Potato.

Where does my brain get these ideas?

Yes! A giant walking baked potato. It was awful.

Did you eat a potato before sleeping or something? That's a pretty strange thing to dream about.

Not at all. It was very very strange, the whole thing. Who calls themselves the Doctor?

That's what the bloke in the blue box called himself.

What'd he look like in your dream? I had one the other night about someone called The Doctor.

Really? You're the second person (well third if we count me) who's had one. He was an older man with short curly white hair and this dandy velvet coat.

I can beat that. A man with curly hair and a giant scarf came to my planet (because apparently, I'm an alien) and there was an insane computer with his face. Which was also on a mountain.

His face, that is, not the computer.

Oh my, that definitely doesn't sound like a pleasant dream to me. Sometimes I think something is in the water of this town.

It didn't end badly. The Doctor saved the day.

Definitely something in the water. No other explanation.

The Doctor? That's.. that's odd. That's what I called the man with the white curly hair. The Doctor. that was his name.

Maybe it's a common sort of name in these dreams?

I suppose.. maybe we both read the name somewhere.
