Network -- Parker

Does anyone else ever have that moment where you look at the people you work with and wonder how in the hell they got the job that they currently have?

Somebody I work with who knows how important it is we don't open any suspicious looking emails has gone right on ahead and done just that. Now we're waiting on tech support.

Scary how one virus infected email can take down an entire network of computers.

Is it lunch time yet?

Urgh, that is also annoying.

I mean I get to help people and make a "difference in the community" but still I think your job is cooler.

It's probably 'cooler' but less karma points in the long run. Also impossible to get decent insurance with and usually insane hours.

What is it you do to make a difference in the community.

Oof, they really screw you over on the insurance front huh?

I'm a police officer, detective to be more accurate. I work in the Criminal Investigations Division, the Family Services & Sex Crimes Unit.

It's just harder depending on what you're doing. Because I do action stuff and stunts for high octane shots, my medical insurance premiums are... intense. Luckily I'm paid well enough to buffer it mostly.

Okay, that's pretty freaking cool. The badge and the gun and the straight up stopping the worst of humanity. I have no idea why you'd have career envy.
