I spent all day convinced I'd just talked to Shaggy, like we'd had a phone call in the middle of the night or something. And he does call sometimes, because he misses Scooby and we've Skype'd a few times so that Scooby can see him and hear him. But it was so convinced we'd talked last night, but there's no history on my call log and my Skype hasn't been on since our last video chat.

Then I figure out what it is.

He was in my dream. With the rest of the gang, solving an old mystery about a Black Knight and a curator trying to embezzle a museum. It was pretty wild, but it's made me miss going to museums too.

I'd probably be able to find one.

But I'd need a dog sitter to go for a long time, and the only person who could dog sit would be the person I'd ask to come to the museum with me.

It used to be something of a hobby, yeah.

A very energetic and needy Great Dane. Probably too long. Art History is so interesting.

Mystery solving? Yeah we were, I mean the mysteries were kind of tame, there was one time we had to turn it into the police because we were sure someone had been poisoned. But we were a proper gang of sleuths.

I don't think I could handle another dog with Scooby. He eats more than some small horses.

That's more exciting than my hobbies. I don't know if I've ever met anyone who could say that before. Nice you had like minded friends, too.

I bet, if he's that big. Well, if you can't find anyone, and still want to go out, you can give me a call. I'm pretty big myself, so he probably couldn't shove me around too bad for a play day.

We were the odd ducks at school, but it really worked for us. But I guess we're like most high school friends and just lost touch mostly.

You say that, but I'm pretty sure I'd need to make it really worth my while and find the best place with the best exhibits, because Scooby can definitely change most minds when you spend time with him. All that energy and excitement he has. But thank you for the offer.

I think everyone feels that way about high school unless you were like...the quarterback that peaked in high school. Then you look back like "I was the shit."

How bad can he be? It's good to have fair warning, though.

We were like on the way to this place, and we find an empty truck but it has this suit of armour in the back. So the gang, we take the suit to the museum and the curator tells us about the legend of the Black Knight, and how one of the other employees was meant to bring it from the station. And then the Knight came to life and terrorised the museum, but it was really the curator trying to scare people off until he could get away.

It was really involved. Somehow, Scooby and Shaggy flew one of the exhibits. Usually my dreams are a little less involved. But it's a trend around here.

He is yeah, he's a very special dog, but much more special in that dream it seems. I don't think he's able to fly anything. He could maybe work out how to surf though.
